    摘要: This invention relates to cationic electro-coating composition which comprises blending which an aqueous dispersion or an aqueous dispersion paste which contains an organic acid-modified bismuth compound in a non-water-soluble state, and which is obtained by mixing and grinding a bismuth compound and an organic acid in an aqueous medium. Said cationic electro-coating composition, although containing no lead compounds, is capable of forming an electrocoated film which is excellent in corrosion resistance, appearance, etc.

    摘要: A cationic electrodeposition coating composition for forming a multilayer film, said composition comprising(A) an epoxy-type cationic electrodepositable resin which is an addition-reaction product formed between an epoxy resin and a basic amino compound, having a surface tension of 40 to 60 dynes/cm and being capable of forming a cathodically depositable aqueous bath by neutralization with an acid,(B) a non-ionic, non-selfcurable, film-forming resin having a surface tension of 25 to 45 dynes/cm, and(C) a blocked polyisocyanate compound as a curing agent,the weight ratio of resin (A) to resin (B) being from 60:40 to 98:2, and the surface tension of resin (A) being at least 5 dynes/cm higher than that of resin (B), and resin (A), resin (B) and the polyisocyanate compound (C) having substantially no ethylenically double bond.

    摘要: The present invention provides a cationic coating composition capable of forming a coating film which is excellent in a corrosion resistance and an adhesive property and an electrodepositably coating property toward a rust preventive steel plate (zinc-plated steel plate). The cationic coating composition described above comprises as a vehicle component, a polyol-modified, amino group-containing epoxy resin prepared by reacting an epoxy resin (A) having an epoxy equivalent of 180 to 2500 with a polyol compound (B) obtained by adding caprolactone to a compound having plural active hydrogen groups and an amino group-containing compound (C).
