摘要: A shoe releasing assembly for use with an orthotic bar or splint is disclosed. The shoe releasing assembly comprises a bar attachment member securable to a bar or splint, a shoe attachment member securable to the sole of a shoe, and latching means to secure the bar and shoe members. The bar attachment member comprises a base, wall section at least partially surrounding the base. The shoe attachment member comprises a shoe attachment base, a shoe attachment wall section at least partially surrounding the shoe attachment base. The attachment members comprise a wall section defining a recess and the corresponding members comprise a wall section having a shape conforming to the recess for vertically inclined insertion into the recess. Latching means are provided for receiving, releasably securing the shoe attachment member to the bar attachment member, and disengaging of the shoe attachment member from the bar attachment member.

摘要: A shoe releasing assembly for use with an orthotic bar or splint is disclosed. The shoe releasing assembly comprises a bar attachment member securable to a bar or splint, a shoe attachment member securable to the sole of a shoe, and latching means to secure the bar and shoe members. The bar attachment member comprises a base, a wall section at least partially surrounding the base. The shoe attachment member comprises a shoe attachment base, a shoe attachment wall section at least partially surrounding the shoe attachment base. When one of the attachment members comprises a wall section defining a recess, the corresponding member comprises a wall section having a shape conforming to the recess for vertically inclined insertion. Latching means are provided for receiving, securing, and disengaging the shoe attachment member to the bar attachment member. Methods of treating foot disorders using the assembly are also disclosed.

摘要: The present invention relates to a device for controlling movement of a catheter that is at least partially disposed therein a urinary catheter pouch. More particularly, the device relates to a catheter movement control device for use with a urinary catheter pouch which allows a user to selectively remove at least a portion of the catheter from the pouch, and prevents the catheter from moving back into the pouch once the catheter has been deployed unless and until the user desires to move the catheter back into the catheter pouch.

The needle guidance system has components to adjustably target a needle's destination in the plane of a two-dimensional ultrasound image before insertion of a needle into a patient. Needle movement is tracked using a position detector that provides a visual display of the needle path on the ultrasonic image.
