摘要: An acoustic paint to be applied to the walls of a room in which a source of audible sound is located to improve the acoustic characteristics of the room and correspondingly improve the clarity (e.g., the warmth, richness and detail) of the sound that is generated by the source and detected by the ear of a listener located within the room. The acoustic paint includes a paint foundation into which is mixed a powdered piezoelectric material or a powdered non-piezoelectric crystalline material having a resonant frequency so that the powdered material will react to the sound generated within the room and thereby control the room acoustics depending upon the type of material and the resonant frequency thereof. An optional catalyst, such as an electrically conductive powdered graphite or powdered graphene, is mixed into the paint foundation. The mixture is stirred and then applied to the walls of the room by means of a brush, a roller, or the like.

摘要: A high frequency energy converter which has application as an acoustic actuator for converting incoming high frequency energy into outgoing harmonized high frequency mechanical (e.g., sound) and electromagnetic waves. The energy converter is adapted to improve the quality of sound heard by a listener by reducing random and spurious harmonics that are introduced by the environment in which the listener is located. The energy converter includes an outer body and a reactive crystalline material (e.g., quartz) lying at the bottom of the outer body that is responsive to the incoming high frequency energy. A dispersion horn is located at the top of the outer body to be seated upon the crystalline material. The dispersion horn has a throat extending therethrough so that both incoming high frequency energy and outgoing high frequency mechanical and electromagnetic waves are transmitted through the throat of the horn in opposite directions.

摘要: A mechanical acoustic energy control system to be located in a room in which one or more audio speakers are also located so that the audio output of the speakers can be distributed throughout the room to enable a listener in the room to be surrounded by sound. A master acoustic resonator attached to the front wall of the room is adapted to vibrate and thereby produce acoustic waves corresponding to the acoustic energy generated by the speakers. A low frequency (e.g., bass) acoustic resonator sits on the floor of the room below the master acoustic resonator. The low frequency acoustic resonator is adapted to vibrate to reflect low frequency acoustic waves produced by the speakers and the master acoustic resonator. A satellite acoustic resonator is located on each of the back and opposing side walls of the room. The satellite acoustic resonators are adapted to vibrate in response to the acoustic waves reflected thereto by the speakers, the master acoustic resonator, and the low frequency acoustic resonator. The vibration of the satellite acoustic resonators controls the dispersion pattern of acoustic waves in the room so that the listener hears a richer, fuller and more natural sound.

摘要: A mechanical acoustic energy control system to be located in a room in which one or more audio speakers are also located so that the audio output of the speakers can be distributed throughout the room to enable a listener in the room to be surrounded by sound. 摘要: An AC voltage conditioner to be connected between a source of AC line voltage or non-linear voltage and one or more AC-powered devices (e.g., audio/video, medical and scientific equipment) to improve the performance of the devices by reducing the effects of interference and distortion often caused by an AC electromagnetic field or radio frequency interference in the vicinity of the devices. A pair of AC current conducting plates are respectively electrically connected between positive and negative output terminals of the AC line voltage source and positive and negative input terminals of each AC-powered device. The pair of AC current conducting plates are interposed between and separated from three DC current carrying plates. The DC current carrying plates are connected in electrical parallel with one another between positive and negative output terminals of a DC voltage generator. DC currents flowing through the DC current carrying plates from the DC voltage generator cause respective DC electromagnetic fields to surround the AC current carrying plates. Therefore, the AC currents flowing through the AC current carrying plates of the AC voltage conditioner will pass through the DC electromagnetic fields ahead of each AC-powered device.
