    摘要: An arrangement for reducing a rotational speed of a rotating member includes a first and second pressure member arranged at a distance from each other and an opposite sides of the rotating member for movement relative to each other between a retracted position and a forward position engaging the rotating member. The arrangement includes an adjustment device including a friction structure forming a friction joint with one of the pressure members for maintaining a position relative to one another provided a maximum friction force is not exceeded. The arrangement further includes a spring acting on the friction structure for separating the pressure members after having been compressed. The spring has a gradually increasing spring force between a non-compressed state and a totally compressed state. An intermediate spring force value of the spring, which corresponds to compression of the spring to an extent less than the totally compressed state, equals a maximum friction force of the friction joint so that the friction structure is forced to move relative to the pressure member, with which it forms the friction joint, when the maximum friction force is exceeded.

The braking arrangement including a set of at least two wet brakes (1), the brakes being adapted to produce different maximum braking force values. Each of the brakes includes a housing (4) with two housing parts (13, 14) which can be separated from one another. A disk set is enclosed in each housing and a brake piston (17) for actuating the disk set is provided for the purpose of producing a braking effect on a rotating member connected to the disk set. The disk set of a first (1) of the brakes includes a first number of disks (7, 10) which are active for braking, and the disk set of a second of the brakes, which brake is intended for a smaller maximum braking force in relation to the first brake, includes, in relation to the first number, a smaller number of disks which are active for braking of the same size as the disks in the first brake. All of the disks (7) in each of the disk sets are arranged so as to interact with at least one adjacent disk (10) in order to produce the braking effect. A first (14) of the housing parts is identical in the two brakes, and a second (13) of the housing parts is of different design in the two brakes.

The interconnecting component (21) has a surface (22) designed to form the friction joint (15) in cooperation with a surface (23) of the driving unit. The interconnecting component and the object are interconnected so that the interconnecting component and the object are locked against displacement relative to each other when the object (4) is acted on in a direction towards the forward position (9) and the interconnecting component (21) is acted on in the opposite direction, for driving the object (4) to the rearward position (10) by means of interconnecting component (21) when the driving unit (14) is displaced to the second position (13) during influence of the spring member and for driving unit (14) to the first position (12) by means of the interconnecting component (21) when the object (4) is displaced to the forward position (9).

    摘要: A device for displacing an object a certain distance is disclosed. In one particular context, the device may be used in a brake piston. The device features a driving member and an interconnecting member located between the driving member and the object being driven (e.g., the brake piston). The driving member and the interconnecting member form a friction joint between them. The friction joint is strong enough that the driving member can push the object back to a retracted position when it is no longer being actuated, but weak enough that the interconnecting member, and hence the object, can be pushed forward relative to the driving member when the driving member reaches a maximum forward position. This lets the object (e.g., the piston) automatically adjust its non-actuated position so the same amount of fluid is required to move the piston forward as associated brake pads get thinner.
