摘要： The present invention relates to an apparatus for checking the authenticity of bank notes in unprotected areas.The invention starts out from an apparatus for checking the authenticity of bank notes in unprotected areas, having a sensor assembly containing a light source which produces light of a first wavelength with which the bank notes to be checked are illuminated, whereupon one or more feature substances present in and/or on the bank notes produce light of a second wavelength which is detected by the sensor assembly, and a control device which evaluates data from the sensor assembly about the light of the second wavelength and compares them with reference data to determine the authenticity of the bank notes, wherein structure and operation of sensor assembly and/or control device permit conclusions to be drawn only with difficulty on the feature substance or substances contained in the bank notes.

摘要： A method for identifying suspected counterfeit and/or counterfeit banknotes paid into an automatic teller machine, wherein banknotes to be paid in are checked for authenticity on the basis of data from a sensor device. The identification is achieved by linking data from the sensor device concerning the suspected counterfeit and/or counterfeit banknotes to an identity of a payer. The method also includes storing the data concerning the suspected counterfeit and/or counterfeit banknotes and the identity of the payer, and generating checking data for the suspected counterfeit and/or counterfeit banknotes by means of the sensor device or a sensor device similar to the sensor device. The checking data are generated by the sensor device for one or more possible positions of the suspected counterfeit and/or counterfeit banknotes, comparing the checking data with the stored data concerning the suspected counterfeit and/or counterfeit banknotes and determining the data of the suspected counterfeit and/or counterfeit banknote which has the closest agreement with the respective checking data. The method further includes identifying the respective suspected counterfeit and/or counterfeit banknote by means of the identity of the payer, which is linked to the data concerning the suspected counterfeit and/or counterfeit banknote with the closest agreement.

摘要： An improved cloth-handling machine in which the energy input necessary for evaporating and conducting away water from clothes being dried is minimized. The machine is a tumbler drying or a combination washing/drying machine and includes a casing having a radiant heater disposed adjacent a reflector in its upper portion adapted to heat a tumbler drum rotatably mounted within the casing. Air is withdrawn from the drum and moisture is condensed from the air which is then recirculated back to the interior of the drum. A condenser arrangement, positioned outside the casing, is comprised of an air turbulator portion connected to a drain opening at the bottom of the casing. A spray or mist of cooling water is supplied by way of a nozzle 22 mounted between the turbulator and the drain opening. The turbulator is followed by a filter and a tranquillizing duct leading through a sump to a pump having a syphon-type outlet. From the tranquillizing duct recirculated air is drawn by an impeller and is moved through an air passage between the radiant heater and reflector, so as to be heated and is thence supplied to the interior of the drum by a nozzle projecting through the usual charging opening of the drum.
