    摘要: A filter assembly for removing material entrained in a fluid stream, comprises a housing for a filter element, having a head part and a body part for receiving a filter element, and inlet and outlet ports for the fluid that is to be filtered. The head part and the body part each have engagement formations which enable the head and body parts to be connected to one another and separated by relative rotation about an axis which is coaxial with a head axis and a body axis. Head and body part keying formations can be provided in the form of at least one recess which is provided in a rib on one of the head and body parts, and at least one projection which is provided on the other of the head and body parts. The keying formations require alignment of the head and body axes for initial assembly of the head and body parts when the projection is can be received in the recess in the rib so as to restrict relative rotation of the head and body parts, and so that the head and body parts can then to be moved to an assembly position in which the projection has passed through the rib so that the head and body parts can be rotated relative to each other to allow the engagement formations to become engaged to one another.

The assembly includes a filter element for removing material entrained in the fluid stream that can be received in the body part, the filter element and body part having second formations which restrict relative rotation between them, the filter element having a filter port, in which a fluid tight connection can be provided between the filter port and the chamber port by sliding one of them into the other along a first axis. One of the head part and the filter element provides an inclined surface which is inclined relative to the first axis, and the other provides an ejector part which can act against the said inclined surface so as to push the filter element away from the head part as the head part and the body part are separated by relative rotation, so as to free the filter port from the chamber port.

The separator assembly comprises a housing having a head part which provides the upper end of the housing and a body part which provides the lower end of the housing. The separator assembly also comprises a shield which extends across the housing towards the lower end thereof so as to leave a collection space between it and the lower end in which material that is separated from the gas stream can collect. There is at least one opening in or around the shield through which the material can flow past the shield into the collection space. The separator assembly further comprises a liner sleeve which covers at least a part of the inside wall of the body part between the shield and the upper end of the body part.

    摘要: This invention relates to a filter assembly for removing material that is entrained in a gas stream. The filter assembly comprises a housing which comprises head and body parts, with an inlet port in the head part for a gas stream to flow into the housing, the head and body parts having formations which enable them to be connected to one another and separated by relative rotation. The filter assembly further comprises a filter element which can be fitted within the housing. The filter element comprises a wall of a filtration medium which defines a hollow space for a gas stream to flow from the space through the wall to be filtered, and an end cap with an inlet which can be sealed to the inlet port in the head part of the housing to provide a flow path for a gas stream to be supplied from the inlet port in the housing to the said space. The filter element fits into the body part of the housing, and the end cap and the body part have interengaging formations in the form of at least one rib and at least one groove, arranged so that the rib can be slid into the groove when the filter element is fitted into the body part, and so that the filter element rotates with the body part relative to the head part.

Each local controller has a microprocessor for processing the data transmitted to it, and the processed data is transmitted between the local controller and its associated devices (61, 62, 63) in accordance with the processed data so as to locally control the operation of those device.

    摘要: A pressure protection system (32) has a docking manifold (44) to which an upstream portion (36) and a downstream portion (38) of a pipeline (34) are connected. Also connected to the docking manifold (44) is a retrievable module (64) which has a conduit circuit (66) that connects the upstream and downstream portions of the pipeline (34) enabling fluid to flow between the two portions (36, 38). The conduit circuit contains two fail-safe valves (72) which are controlled by a control module (80) within the retrievable module, and two pressure transmitters (76) co-operable with the control module (80). When wither pressure transmitter (76) senses fluid pressure in the conduit circuit (66) to be above a threshold value then it causes the control module (80) to effect closure of the valves (72) preventing the pressure rise from reaching the downstream portion (38) of the pipeline (34).
