摘要: A device for reducing the effective radar cross section (RCS) of a naval vessel is proposed, the device comprising a cladding panel, which can be mounted on vessel superstructures or cargo of the naval vessel, the cladding panel being permeable to radar beams, the device also comprising a reflection means, which reflects radar beams, and the reflection means also being embedded in the cladding panel and being aligned at least partially inclined with respect to a main plane of extent of the cladding panel.

摘要: In a shock-secure door or hatch arrangement on marine ships, a doorway frame, on two opposite longitudinal edges thereof, has continuous latching bars that are receivable in corresponding grooves in opposite edges of a door in order to latch the door in a closed position. The latching bar on the hinged edge of the doorway frame is stationary and engages into the associated door edge groove during a closing motion of the door. The latching bar on the opposite edge of the doorway frame is movable by actuating elements so as to engage into the respective associated door edge groove for latching the door in its closed position. A locking mechanism locks and unlocks the movable latching bar in its latched position.

摘要: A watercraft may include a crane for lifting loads. The crane may include a tower and a boom that is rotatble with respect to the tower. The tower may be positioned inside the outer contour of the watercraft so as to minimize the profile of the watercraft on radar. The watercraft may include a superstructure within which the tower may be disposed. The superstructure may include planar outer walls that are obtuse relative to a horizontal plane. A rotary bearing may be utilized to connect the boom to the tower and permit the boom to rotate relative to the tower. Further, when the boom is in a rest position, a lower edge of the boom may be positioned 10 cm or less above the crane deck.
