A metering device for metered dispensing of a lubricating grease onto a surface includes at least one nozzle configured to dispense the lubricating grease in a given direction and a metering chamber fluidly connectable with a lubricating-grease reservoir and configured to portion the lubricating grease. The metering chamber is configured to hold the lubricating grease, at a location upstream of the nozzle, at an excess pressure without the lubricating grease being dispensed at the nozzle.

The invention relates to a roller test bench-type charging device comprising driveable rollers for charging an electric energy store in a motor vehicle, in particular in an electric or hybrid vehicle, such that the energy store of a motor vehicle which is placed on said device and the wheels of an axle of which are connected to the rollers in a force-transmitting manner is charged via the motor vehicle alternator or a motor vehicle electric motor designed as a generator. A universal charging device can thereby be provided.

The invention pertains to a lubricant pump for conveying lubricant to at least one lubricating point, wherein said lubricant pump features a first pump unit and a drive assigned thereto. According to the invention, another pump unit is also provided and coupled to the first pump unit, wherein the other pump unit can be driven simultaneously with the first pump unit by means of the drive of the first pump unit.

A radial roller bearing for storing shafts in wind turbine transmissions, which has an external bearing ring with an inner runway, an internal bearing ring arranged coaxial thereto provided with an external runway, and a plurality of roller bodies that displace on the runways between the bearing rings held at regular intervals by a bearing cage. To prevent slip, the roller bodies are replaced by hollow rollers that have a greater diameter and a smaller elasticity module than the roller bodies ensuring, when the radial roller bearing is in the load-free state, permanent contact with the bearing rings, a permanent drive of the bearing cage and that the roller bodies have kinematic rotation. The hollow rollers have a higher bending strength, and their internal cover surface has a maximum surface roughness of Rz≦25 μm preventing localized peaks of tension, without any disaggregation in the axial direction.

A shade arrangement for a motor vehicle with a drive unit which has a roller tube for taking up a shade, a roller shaft, an electric motor for driving the roller tube around the roller shaft, and a planetary gearing, the inner surface of the roller tube being formed as a ring gear of the planetary gearing. The electric motor has a stator and an armature, the stator being connected to the roller tube and stator turns with it, and the armature turns relative to the vehicle body when the roller tube turns. The electric motor can have sliding contacts by means of which it is connected to the voltage source of the vehicle. Alternatively, the electric motor is connected by means of flexible cables to a body-mounted voltage source of the vehicle. Furthermore a slip clutch can be provided in the drive line of the roller tube.

An iridium alloy is produced having at least 85% by weight iridium, at least 0.005% by weight molybdenum, 0.001 to 0.6% by weight hafnium and, optionally, rhenium, the sum of molybdenum and hafnium being between 0.002 and 1.2% by weight. The iridium alloy is produced in a process, in which an IrMo and an IrHf master alloy, respectively, are created in an electric arc and immersed into an iridium melt, optionally together with Re.

According to one exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a method for sensing the position of an edge of a stock being feed to a printing press is provided. The method includes the steps of providing a light source, utilizing the light source to illuminate with planar radiation a preselected area of the stock, and a preselected area adjacent to the stock, and further providing a retro-reflecting surface on at least a portion of the preselected area adjacent to the stock illuminated by the light source. According to a feature of the present invention, a measuring device is provided and utilized to measure radiation reflected by the retro-reflecting surface.

The invention pertains to a lubricant collection container with a dimensionally stable enclosure and a collection bag accommodated therein, wherein the collection bag is fixed in the dimensionally stable enclosure by means of a holding device and is stabilized during movement of the lubricant collection container such that the collection bag cannot move freely during movement of the lubricant collection container. The holding device comprises a folding insert with a base plate and a membrane that at least partially covers the base plate, wherein the collection bag is essentially arranged between the base plate and the membrane and the membrane preferably covers the collection bag completely in the folded state of the folding insert in order to fix and stabilize the collection bag in a simple fashion.

A radial anti-friction bearing, which has an outer and inner bearing race with an inner and outer raceway and cylinder rollers that roll on the raceways between the bearing races and which are held at equal distances to each other in the peripheral direction by a bearing cage. To prevent slip, the cylinder rollers are replaced by hollow rollers, which have a larger outside diameter and lower modulus of elasticity. The dimensions of the bearing races, cylinder rollers and hollow rollers are configured such that both the cylinder and hollow rollers initially have a defined radial bearing clearance in the non-installed state of the radial anti-friction bearing, and the pretension necessary for the continuous drive of the bearing cage is adjusted on the hollow rollers only once the radial anti-friction bearing has been installed, while simultaneously reducing the radial bearing clearance at the cylinder rollers.
