    摘要: A lubricating feeder apparatus comprises a feeder conduit section, a liquid conduit section, and a liquid regulating device. The feeder apparatus is used for feeding conduit to an underground conduit system having a plurality of conduit system sections connected to form a continuous underground duct. The feeder conduit section defines a primary duct, and includes a receiving end and a feeding end. The liquid conduit section is attached to the feeder conduit section. The liquid conduit section has a liquid receiving end and a liquid dispensing end. The liquid dispensing end is connected to the feeder conduit section such that a secondary duct defined by the liquid conduit section is in fluid connection with the primary duct. The liquid regulating device is disposed within the secondary duct for regulating the flow rate of liquid therethrough.

    摘要: The present invention is drawn to a container for dispensing fluids in metered amounts and, more particularly, a container for dispensing motor oil for lubricating the engine of a vehicle. The container comprises a housing defining space within which a wall is mounted for dividing the space into first and second compartments. A valve actuator stem is mounted in the first compartments and is selectively moveable from a first position through a second position to a third position and back again for selectively operating a fluid inlet valve and gas inlet and outlet valves. A second actuator is associated with the second compartment defined within the space of the housing. The second valve actuator is moveable between a first and a second position for opening and closing a fluid outlet valve. A linkage is provided for interconnecting the valve actuators.

    摘要: In a method of lubricating a curved section of a railway track subjected to wear by the wheel-flanges of passing railroad vehicles the rail section is intermittently lubricated with lubricant from a lubricating shot-unit or metering-unit provided with a nozzle. The shots of lubricant may be controlled by using a signal voltage applied between the rails or by means of an electric transducer, an inductive transducer, a coupling clock or the like. Compressed air and/or lubricant is applied through lines to the metering-unit from separate storage containers arranged at a distance from the unit.In one embodiment a propelling-gas of reduced pressure is caused, via a control unit, to control in a pulse-like fashion a metering valve associated with said metering-unit.The invention also refers to an apparatus for the intermittent discharge of a working substance, e.g. grease for lubricating railway tracks, by means of a propelling-gas under high pressure such as nitrogen gas.

    摘要: The lubricator, according to the embodiment shown, comprises a lubricant storage chamber, which is connected between a lubricant supply line and lubricant discharge line, in which to receive a stored "charge" of lubricant. The chamber is evacuated by a plunger carried by a piston, the latter being operated by pneumatic pressure when the device to be lubricated is started up or turned "on". By way of example, the lubricator will supply a charge of lubricant to an air motor on motor start up; the plunger-operating piston is translated by a portion of the compressed air which is conducted to the air motor. A further piston-carried closure element is interposed in the lubricant discharge line to insure that, where the lubricant supply is under pressure, lubricant will not be conducted into the lubricant discharge line until the machine to be lubricated is started.
