摘要: The diversity receiving apparatus of the present invention can arbitrarily determine the master branch which is the reference to synchronize the output timing among the symbols of the signals received by a plurality of branches depending on the receiving condition. This structure allows the master branch to be replaced with another branch in excellent receiving condition when the master branch gets into bad receiving condition or when the antenna signal wire on the master side comes off or breaks, thereby achieving the selection and synthesis of carriers.

摘要: A receiving device receives by multiple antennas a signal carrier-modulated with digital multivalued modulation, compares the distance between received signal points with a threshold preliminarily stored, to select complex signals to be synthesized when demodulating, and adjusts a ratio for synthesizing to correct likelihood for error correction. With such a makeup, a receiving device is provided that is resistant to a noise signal to ensure a favorable reception state.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device includes a pair of substrates provided opposite to each other, a common electrode provided on one of the pair of substrates, and a pixel electrode provided on the other of the pair of substrates. A vertical alignment type liquid crystal is sealed between the pair of substrates. An alignment film is polymerizable upon irradiation of UV, and is obtained by polymerizing substantially the entire alignment film with a voltage applied between the electrodes after the liquid crystal is sealed between the substrates. A pixel region has areas whose electro-optical characteristics are different from each other because of a difference between applied voltages at the time of polymerization.

摘要: The present invention provides a liquid crystal display including a liquid crystal display panel and a drive section performing divisional drive operation which includes first and second drive operations. The first drive operation performs a driving process with a first drive voltage higher than an original application voltage, and the second drive operation performs a driving process with a second drive voltage lower than the original application voltage. The liquid crystal display panel includes one or more pixel electrodes each having a plurality of slits, and one or more alignment control electrodes provided in one or more regions corresponding to one or more of the slits of the pixel electrode. The alignment control electrode configures a capacitive element in cooperation with the pixel electrode. Electric potential of the pixel electrode is lower than that of the alignment control electrode.

摘要: A sub picture element electrode directly connected to a thin film transistor is disposed between a floating sub picture element electrode capacitively coupled to a control electrode and a gate bus line in order to prevent injection of electric charges from the gate bus line to the floating sub picture element electrode. Moreover, a shield pattern electrically connected to an auxiliary capacitance bus line is formed between the floating sub picture element electrode and a data bus line. This shield pattern avoids injection of electric charges from the data bus line to the floating sub picture element electrode.
