摘要： A lighting device in which an amount of light emitted by a lamp is detected by a light receiving element for controlling the input voltage of the lamp commensurate with the detected amount of light. By utilizing a pre-illumination system in conjunction with the lighting device, it is possible to improve the sensitivity characteristics of the light receiving element as the lamp is being charged up to a desired level of illuminescence and to prevent the input of an excessive voltage to the lamp.

The stored numeric value can be used in the control for setting a magnification value.

摘要： A computer-controlled paper feeder comprises at least first and second supply units from which respective recording materials are supplied one at a time towards a processing station. There is provided a size detector for detecting the size of the recording material contained in respective cassettes inserted in the associated first and second supply units and an emptiness detector for detecting the presence and absence of the recording material in any one of the cassettes in the first and second supply units. These detectors are so correlated with micro-computer that, when the recording material in one of the cassettes has been consumed and the size of the recording material in the other of the cassettes has been found equal to that in the one of the cassettes, the corresponding supply unit is brought into operation to feed the recording material out of the other of the cassettes towards the processing station until the recording material in the other of the cassettes is completely consumed.

摘要： Sequential control circuit for sequentially controlling the operation of mechanical equipment, for example, an electrophotographic copying apparatus including various devices having respective smaller devices is characterized in that a first train of clock pulses having a fixed predetermined frequency is converted into a third train of clock pulses whose respective pulses are in synchronism with respective pulses of a second train of clock pulses sequentially generated in accordance with respective driven rates of the sequentially driven devices, so that a respective digital timer circuit which is preset with operational time data of its respective device is capable of successively performing the decrement of the predetermined time in response to the respective pulses of the respective third train of clock pulses.

As the device requires manual actuation only of a resetting switch, an initial count means for specifying a required number of actions during actuation of the equipment, and a start switch, equipment control with the device is extremely simple.

摘要： In an electric safety switch circuit for use in apparatus having at least one safety switch for detecting at least one abnormal condition of the apparatus, switching elements are connected between a power source and the apparatus. The voltage of the main power source is transformed to a lower voltage and the switching elements are opened or closed by control circuitry in the low voltage circuit. The at least one safety switch is connected to the voltage transformer and the control circuitry such that the actuation of the at least one safety switch upon detection thereof of an abnormal condition actuates the control circuitry to open the switching elements and disconnect the apparatus from the power source.In one embodiment a primary switch is interconnected between the power source and the electric safety switch circuit, and in a modified embodiment the primary switch is connected in the electric safety switch circuit itself. The reduction in the voltage and current in which the primary switch and/or the at least one safety switch are interconnected results in improved reliability, durability, and operating life of the electric circuit as well as providing commensurate decreases in the cost of the electric circuit.
