摘要： A lighting device in which an amount of light emitted by a lamp is detected by a light receiving element for controlling the input voltage of the lamp commensurate with the detected amount of light. By utilizing a pre-illumination system in conjunction with the lighting device, it is possible to improve the sensitivity characteristics of the light receiving element as the lamp is being charged up to a desired level of illuminescence and to prevent the input of an excessive voltage to the lamp.

摘要： Provided is an intra-subject medical system which includes a body-insertable device and a physical quantity generator. The body-insertable device is to be introduced into a subject, is covered by a capsule-shaped exterior member, and includes a physical quantity detecting member which has a directivity to detect a predetermined physical quantity; at least one functional member which has a necessary function for examining or treating inside the subject; and a switch control unit which controls an on/off state or operation mode of the at least one functional member when the physical quantity detecting member detects a physical quantity. The physical quantity generator has a physical quantity emitting unit which emits a temporary physical quantity inside the subject; and a physical quantity direction changing unit which changes an emission direction of the physical quantity.

The capsule endoscope 1 includes a drive unit for changing at least one of the position and posture of the casing in the liquid 2a which is also introduced in the subject 100. The permanent magnet 3 controls the operation of the drive unit for changing at least one of the position and posture of the casing in the liquid 2a.

摘要： It is an object of the present invention to provide a thermal transfer sheet which has a high transfer sensitivity in thermal transfer printing to obtain a high density print, has a high sharpness of thermal transfer images, can prevent an abnormal transfer in printing even after being stored at high temperature and high humidity, and can provide a sufficiently satisfactory printed matter.The above object is achieved by a thermal transfer sheet comprising: a substrate; a heat resistant slip layer provided on one side of the substrate; an undercoat layer and a dye layer provided in that order on the other side of the substrate, wherein the undercoat layer is formed by applying and drying a coating liquid which contains, as main components, a water soluble self cross-linking resin and colloidal inorganic pigment ultrafine particles, and cross-linking polymerizing the water soluble self cross-linking resin, or wherein the undercoat layer is formed by using colloidal inorganic pigment ultrafine particles and a copolymer resin of vinyl pyrrolidone and vinyl acetate as main components.

摘要： An endoscope has a channel switching device for use in switching over a suction channel. The channel switching device consists broadly of a cylinder unit and valve unit. The valve unit can be disassembled into three component parts; a button assembly, piston assembly, and mount assembly. The button assembly has a cap, which is made of a rigid resin such as polyether ketone (PEEK) or polysulfone (PSU), as the uppermost part thereof. Since the cap is made of a rigid resin durable to autoclaving; such as, PSU or PEEK, the valve unit will not be damaged due to autoclaving. Even when the autoclaved valve unit is put to use though it is not yet cooled down, an operator will not perceive heat very much but can manipulate the endoscope as he/she intends.
