    摘要: An image processing device can explicitly distinguish cells to be observed from cells other than those to be observed with a simple configuration. To this end, the image processing device includes a color information obtaining part obtaining at least hue from color information of each pixel of a color image, a detecting part detecting a mode value of the hue on a color space, a range setting part setting a predetermined range on the color space including the mode value of the hue detected by the detecting part as a target range, a changing part changing hue of a pixel included in the target range by virtually performing extension on the target range, and an information converting part converting color information of a pixel having hue not included in the target range into color information indicative of an achromatic color.

    摘要: An inspection apparatus includes an imaging device and an image processing device. The imaging device photographs a specimen and outputs a color image of the specimen to the image processing device. The image processing device subjects the color image of the specimen to negative-positive reversal. After detecting a mode value of the hue the color image having been subjected to negative-positive reversal, the image processing device changes the hue of the color image in accordance with a difference between a boundary value of two predefined hues and the detected mode value. In accordance with the change of the hue, a plurality of target pixels different in the saturation is extracted and the saturation and the intensity of each pixel are changed, or the gradation of each pixel is converted so that the plurality of target pixels becomes most distant from one another in a color space.

    摘要: The present invention provides a process for preparing a transplantable liver tissue, cell colonies suitable for the process, and a process for preparing them. At least about 70 % of the cells in the small hepatocyte-rich colonies of the present invention are small hepatocytes. In particular, each colony comprises about 10 to 30 cells and the number of the small hepatocytes is at least about 70 % based on the total number of the cells in the colony. A process for preparing such small hepatocyte-rich colonies is also disclosed. The present invention also discloses a process for inducing the maturation of the small hepatocyte-rich colonies into a liver tissue and a method of estimating the effect of a drug, particularly the effect thereof connected with normal liver function in vitro, using the cell colonies enriched with the small hepatocytes which have been induced to be matured.
