    摘要: A laser light source (10) has semiconductor lasers (1) and a waveguide tube (3) for propagating emission light from each of the semiconductor lasers (1). The semiconductor lasers are arranged on the upper end on the incident surface (31) side of the waveguide tube such that the emission light (4) from each of the semiconductor lasers enters into the waveguide tube from one end surface (31) of the waveguide tube and exits from the other end surface (32) of the waveguide tube. The structure can realize a small-sized laser light source having high output and capable of outputting emission light having uniform emission light intensity distribution.

    摘要: A laser light source (10) of the present invention is provided with plural semiconductor lasers (1), and a waveguide (3) in which light beams emitted from the respective semiconductor lasers (1) propagate, and the plural semiconductor lasers are disposed at an upper end of an incident end face (31) of the waveguide so that the light beams (4) emitted from the respective semiconductor lasers enter the waveguide from the end face (31) of the waveguide and are emitted from another end face (32) of the waveguide. Thereby, it is possible to realize a high-power and compact laser light source which is able to output a light beam having a uniform light intensity distribution.

    摘要: A light source device is provided with a coherent light source for emitting the coherent light, and a pattern changer for changing an interference pattern of the coherent light on a surface of the illumination object. The pattern changer includes a photorefractive crystal which is arranged between the coherent light source and the illumination object and on an optical path of the coherent light and exhibits a photorefractive effect, and a changer for changing at least one of a light intensity distribution, a polarization direction, a wavelength and an intensity of coherent light incident on the photorefractive crystal. The illumination object is illuminated with the coherent light.

    摘要: A wavelength conversion device includes a laser light source that emits a fundamental wave; a wavelength conversion element that converts the fundamental wave into a second harmonic wave; and an optical system including a wavelength selective mirror that reflects the fundamental wave transmitted through the wavelength conversion element without being converted into the second harmonic wave, while transmitting therethrough the second harmonic wave generated by wavelength conversion, wherein the optical system makes the fundamental wave transmitted through the wavelength conversion element without being converted into the second harmonic wave enter the wavelength conversion element again to be subjected to wavelength conversion once or more than once, while being focused by the wavelength selective mirror, and the conversion efficiency in at least one of the second stage and stages subsequent to the second stage is higher than the conversion efficiency in the first stage, where the conversion efficiency in each stage is defined as: (a second harmonic wave generated in one stage)/(a square of the fundamental wave entered in the one stage).
