    摘要: Disclosed is an improved laminated metallic belt consisting of at least two layers of an endless metallic band for use in a torque transmission device, which can transmit torque between two pulleys having variable effective radii, in combination with a plurality of metallic blocks which have surfaces contacting the innermost layer of the laminated metallic belt and are arranged along the laminated metallic belt. The metallic belt according to the present invention may be made of precipitation hardening martensitic stainless steel or maraging steel which have favorable properties as to toughness, mechanical strength and the adaptability for welding required for making an endless laminated metallic belt, but lack the surface hardness to ensure relatively favorable durability. The durability of the steel is improved according to the present invention by a nitride layer and/or an electroless nickel plating layer formed on the side edges of the endless metallic band. Optionally, the innermost and/or the outermost surface of the laminated metallic belt may be hardened in a similar manner.

    摘要: A V-belt transmission is provided which comprises two pulleys, an endless metallic V-belt operatively positioned between the two pulleys, a plurality of V-shaped members positioned with the V-belt located between the arms of the V and a stopper member for engaging the V-shaped member to prevent the V-shaped member from coming off of the V-belt. The V-shaped member includes grooves in a wall of the arms of the V at a position below or inside the plane of the inner surface of the V-belt. Further, the stopper member includes a middle portion which is positioned above or outside the plane of the outer surface of the V-belt and end portions for engaging the grooves at a point below or inside the plane of the inner surface of the V-belt. The groove in the V-shaped member is located on the outside of the arms of the V and has a first portion which extends in the lengthwise direction of the V-belt and a second portion which extends perpendicular to the surface of the V-belt. The end portion of the stopper member has first and second portions, the first portion engaging the first portion of the groove and the second portion engaging the second portion of the groove. The middle and end portions of the stopper member are integral.

    摘要: An automatic transmission apparatus in which a machine casing is provided on one side thereof with an input shaft connected to an internal combustion engine and with a torque convertor connected to the input shaft and is provided at the interior thereof with an output shaft in parallel with the input shaft. The input shaft and the output shaft are interconnected through a high-speed transmission system having a high-speed clutch and a low-speed transmission system having a low-speed clutch. The input shaft is elongated to within the machine casing so as to form a first driving shaft of direct coupled type integrally connected to the input shaft and is provided at its elongated end portion with the high-speed clutch. A tubular form of second driving shaft is connected to the output side of the torque convertor and extends along the first driving shaft and is substantially concentric therewith. The low-speed clutch is interposed between an input side portion and an output side portion of the tubular shaft.

    摘要: A V belt (1; 201) for power transmission to be stretched over a driving pulley (100) and a driven pulley to effect power transmission therebetween, the V belt comprising a looped metallic belt (2), a plurality of V-shaped metallic blocks (3; 203) fitted on the metallic belt in a continuous manner along the length of the metallic belt, and a plurality of stoppers (5; 75) each respectively applied to one of the V-shaped blocks to cooperate with a concave groove (3b; 203b) of the V-shaped block so as to surround the metallic belt. At least a part (5d; 75d) of a base portion (5a; 75a) of the stopper is curved in a radial direction of the V belt to permit a resilient uniform opening of both side portions (5b; 75b) thereof in lateral directions (Y). The V belt further comprises a plurality of rollers (4) each respectively disposed between neighboring two of the V-shaped blocks; the V-shaped blocks include a number of V-shaped blocks (3x, 3y) falling into at least two types having their minimum longitudinal thicknesses (l.sub.2, l.sub.3) different from each other; and V-shaped blocks (3y) of at least either type each have a marking (3i, 3j; 3k) visually identifiable from outside of the V belt. The V belt (201) further includes a plurality of rollers (4) disposed between the V-shaped blocks, respectively, and the V-shaped blocks (3, 203) include a number of V-shaped blocks (203) of another type each having at either side of the V belt a convex part (203e) playing the role of a roller.

    摘要: Herein disclosed is a V-belt transmission device in which a plurality of substantially V-shaped metal members (2) and a plurality of resilient metal members (3) are alternately mounted to an endless metal belt member made of band steel and are in contact with each other to constitute a V-belt which is subjected to a tension between a driving V-pulley (5) and a driven V-pulley (6), thereby effecting a torque transmission between both the pulleys. Each of the V-shaped metal members (2) is provided with a substantially U-shaped groove (7) directed to the outside. Each of the resilient metal members is formed as a hollow roller to engage with recessed surfaces (8) which are formed in opposing surfaces of a pair of the V-shaped metal members (2). The V-shaped metal members (2) and the resilient metal members are fastened together at their outer peripheries by the metal belt member. The V-belt transmission device is characterized in that a pair of right and left engaging grooves (9) are formed at inward wall of arm end portions of each of the U-shaped grooves (7) formed in the V-shaped metal members (2) and stop members (10) are each formed in a plate having a narrow portion (10a) and at least one wide portion (10b), each of the stop members being engaged with the engaging grooves (9) with the narrow portion (10a).

    摘要: A V-belt assembly is provided which comprises an endless metallic belt and a plurality of V-shaped members disposed along the belt in the longitudinal direction of the belt. Each of the V-shaped members has a groove with a belt engaging surface at the bottom of the groove facing the belt. The V-shaped members also include pulley engaging surfaces for engaging the surfaces of pulleys in the transmission. A plurality of intermediate members are interposed between adjacent V-shaped members on the inside of the belt. The intermediate members are held between corresponding adjacent V-shaped members by intermediate member engaging surfaces of the V-shaped members. The intermediate members are movable towards and away from the belt along the intermediate member engaging surfaces. The side surfaces of the groove can be formed with a surface corresponding to the shape of the edge surface of the endless belt.
