    摘要: To change the frequency of a video clock without adversely affecting a display quality. To lower the frequency of a video clock, following steps are executed, detecting an opportunity which causes the reduction of the frequency of the video clock; lowering the frequency of the video clock in a frequency range within which a circuit employing the video clock (for example, a PLL (Phase Lock Loop) circuit) can follow a change in the frequency; and iterating the step of lowering the frequency of the video clock until a predetermined frequency is attained. In addition, the following steps are also performed, detecting an opportunity which causes the reduction of the frequency of the video clock; lowering the frequency of the video clock to a predetermined frequency during a vertical blanking interval of a display device that employs the video clock; and maintaining the predetermined frequency of the video clock until change of the frequency is required. Furthermore, the following steps are performed, detecting an opportunity which causes the reduction of the frequency of the video clock; changing a display color on a screen of a display device to a color for which flickers are not outstanding; and lowering the frequency of the video clock.

    摘要: To enable a computer system such that each local arbiter is supposed to output its own priority as the right to use the bus on a common arbitration bus through open-collector-type drivers to determine a winner in arbitration, to expand the bus by way of a channel different from bus signal lines. Certain representation features 73 and 79 having the functions of a local arbiter that represent the arbitration level of the other bus are provided in both a primary system and a secondary system linked via a channel in a signal transmission mode different from the signal transmission mode of the bus. Arbitration is first conducted on each of the buses of the primary and secondary system to determine winners in arbitration. Notification of the arbitration level of each winner is made through a channel to the representation feature on the other bus. After this notification, arbitration is conducted once again between a winner in arbitration on each bus and the representation feature representing the arbitration level of the other bus to determine a final winner.

    摘要: A technique for enhancing the execution efficiency of simulation of a hybrid system. A continuous system simulator receives a request for evaluation of an event generating conditional expression for an event to be processed by a discrete system simulator, from the discrete system simulator. The event generating conditional expression is evaluated by referring to the value of a first variable describing a continuous system. Until evaluation of the event generating conditional expression indicates true, the continuous system simulator repeats simulation of advancing the current time by a step time interval and evaluation of the event generating conditional expression. When evaluation of the event generating conditional expression indicates true, the continuous system simulator sends current time data and the value of a second variable describing the continuous system which is referred to by the discrete simulator, to the discrete simulator.

First, a source code is acquired and then analyzed to generate a log acquisition code for acquiring an execution log. Then, a program including the generated log acquisition code is executed to acquire execution log information on the execution of the program. On the basis of the acquired execution log information, automaton information on states and transitions among the states is extracted, and then the extracted automaton information is converted into sequence diagram component information on components constituting a sequence diagram. Thereafter, a sequence diagram is generated based on the converted sequence diagram component information.
