    摘要: Joining surfaces (2a, 2b) of a pair of conductive joining members (1a, 1b) to be joined to each other are caused to face each other, and while one of the joining members (1a, 1b) is slid relative to the other of the joining members (1a, 1b), a current is passed from one of the joining members (1a, 1b) to the other of the joining members (1a, 1b) so as to cause resistance heating. Abrasion, plastic flow, and material diffusion therefore occur in high surface-pressure sections of the joining surfaces (2a, 2b), and the joining surfaces (2a, 2b) are joined together while current concentration locations are varied from moment to moment.

    摘要: A bonding method includes bonding a pair of members together made of conductive material and having bonding surfaces which are not positioned on the same plane. In the bonding method, the bonding surfaces of the members to be bonded are positioned to face each other, an electric current is supplied from one of the members to be bonded to the other for carrying out resistance heating while the pair of members to be bonded are slid relative to each other. In this way, the bonding surfaces are bonded to each other. Split or partition surfaces that form a hollow passage and extending along the axis of the hollow passage are set as the bonding surfaces which are not on the same plane.

    摘要: A variable valve driving apparatus of an internal combustion engine, including a drive shaft rotatably supported by a cam bracket, a drive cam disposed about an outer periphery of the drive shaft, a link arm having a first end connected to the drive cam, an oscillating cam extending from the drive cam configured to press and release a drive valve of the engine to open and close the drive valve, a link rod having a first end rotatably connected to the oscillating cam, and a control shaft rotatably supported by the cam bracket. The control shaft includes a main shaft rotatably supported by the cam bracket, an eccentric shaft spaced apart from the main shaft, and a plurality of webs connecting the main shaft and the eccentric shaft. The eccentric shaft is connected to an oscillating arm configured to transfer a drive force of the drive cam. The oscillating arm has a first portion rotatably connected to a second end of the link arm and a second portion rotatably connected to a second end of the link rod, the first and second portions being spaced apart axially with respect to the eccentric shaft. A first flow path for supplying lubricant to a first sliding contact area between the oscillating arm and the eccentric shaft is formed through the control shaft. The first flow path extends from the main shaft to the eccentric shaft through a web located beside the second portion of the oscillating arm.

Lubricant is communicated from a main lubricant flow path in the drive shaft through three lubricant paths to sliding contact areas between the drive cam and the link arm, between the pin of the oscillating arm and the link arm, and between the eccentric cam and the oscillating arm.

A gap is formed between the restricting member and the rocker cam in a state where the cam follower is in contact with the driving cam portion and disappears such that the restricting member and the rocker cam come into contact with each other only when the cam follower separates from the driving cam portion.

    摘要: A valve operating device (100) opens and closes a valve (2) of an internal combustion engine by driving a valve stem axially. A rocker cam (10) that rocks about a drive shaft (21) in synchronization with a rotation of the internal combustion engine includes a driving cam portion (11) and a lift restricting cam portion (12). A cam follower (41) lifts the valve by contacting the driving cam portion (11) slidingly so as to convert the rocking of the rocker cam (10) into an axial direction motion of the valve stem. A restricting member (42) formed integrally with the cam follower (41) in a rocker arm (40) prevents the cam follower (41) from separating from the driving cam portion (11) in cooperation with the lift restricting cam portion (12), and as a result, an irregular valve motion is prevented regardless of a rocking acceleration of the rocker cam (10).
