    摘要: A power unit of a vehicle, which includes an internal combustion engine and a transmission, is provided which is configured to quickly return lubricating oil fed to the transmission to an oil storage portion of the power unit case. The transmission includes a gear train housed in a gear chamber, the gear train executing power transmission among an input shaft, an intermediate shaft and an output shaft. The input shaft and the output shaft are arranged such that a line connecting their respective shaft centers extends almost horizontally above a communicating port which permits return oil flow between segregated portions of the power unit case. In addition, the intermediate shaft is disposed above and between the input shaft and the output shaft.

A vehicle engine includes a first ignition plug and a second ignition plug for making respective electrodes thereof face a combustion chamber and are mounted on a cylinder head. An air flow passage through which a flow of air passes and a cooling oil chamber through which lubrication oil for the engine passes are formed in the cylinder head. The first ignition plug is arranged in the air flow passage to enable a cooling of the first ignition plug by the flow of air which passes through the air flow passage. The second ignition plug is arranged adjacent to the cooling oil chamber to enable a cooling of an area around the second ignition plug by oil which passes through the cooling oil chamber.

    摘要: An oil storage structure for an internal combustion engine is configured so that an oil pickup port remains immersed when an oil surface fluctuates, both in the fore-and-aft direction due to acceleration and deceleration of a vehicle, and also in the lateral direction, due to sudden turning of the vehicle. The oil storage structure includes an oil storage chamber provided at the bottom of the internal combustion engine, and an oil supply pipe for drawing in oil from a pickup port in the oil storage chamber. The oil storage chamber includes a first subchamber having an opening on top thereof for receiving the oil supply pipe, and a second oil subchamber provided adjacent to the first oil subchamber, and substantially sealed in relation thereto. An upper wall of the second oil subchamber is disposed at a level below a full oil surface level of the first oil subchamber.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an image processing method and to a device to process a moving image, which is shot by a predetermined video shooting device, in increments of access units. The imaging blur is represented by a corresponding low-pass filter showing the properties of imaging blur which occurs at the time that said moving image is shot with said video shooting device. According to the present method an inverse filter having inverse properties as to said low-pass filter is generated. A processing is performed to apply said inverse filter to said access unit to be processed. Hereby, the step of generating an inverse filter includes an iterative algorithm in the frequency domain based on the original blurred image and the point spread function.
