摘要: A vehicle steering apparatus comprises a rack shaft, a joint provided at an end of the rack shaft, a stopper for regulating a stroke amount of the rack shaft, and a spacer. The spacer comprises an annular elastic member and an annular metal member. The elastic member comprises an inner annular section fitted on the end of the rack shaft and an outer annular section. The metal member comprises an annular section surrounding an outer periphery of the outer annular section of the elastic member. The outer annular section of the elastic member comprises a projection section projecting farther to the stopper than a first abutment section of the metal member when the stopper does not regulate the stroke amount of the rack shaft.

摘要: A stable continuous production of a propylene-based block copolymer can proceed for a long time without causing accumulation of particles having a small diameter by a process having the following steps: (1) polymerizing an &agr;-olefin containing liquid propylene as a main component in the presence of hydrogen and a stereoregular polymerization catalyst in one or more polymerization reactors to obtain a polymer slurry; (2) feeding the polymer slurry to a copolymerization reactor; and (3) copolymerizing propylene and an &agr;-olefin other than propylene substantially in a gaseous phase in the presence of the stereoregular polymerization catalyst, the polymer slurry and a deactivating compound in the copolymerization reactor to obtain a propylene-block copolymer powder. The polymer slurry, discharged from one of said one or more polymerization reactors and is classified using a classification system to obtain a) a classified polymer slurry containing a large amount of particles having a small particle diameter and b) a classified polymer slurry containing a large amount of particles having a large particle diameter. A main part of the classified polymer slurry containing a large amount of particles having a small particle diameter is recycled to a final polymerization reactor of the one or more polymerization reactors.

摘要: A fluid-filled vibration damping device includes a first mounting member and a cup-shaped second mounting member elastically connected by an elastic body such that an opening of the second mounting member fluid-tightly closed by the elastic body. An outer metal sleeve having an outward flange portion at its upper end is bonded by vulcanization to an outer circumferential surface of the elastic body, and a cylindrical orifice member is fitted onto the outer metal sleeve with an upper end face superposed on the outward flange portion. The outer metal sleeve and the orifice member are fitted into the cylindrical wall portion of the second mounting member. An outer metallic ring bonded by vulcanization to an outer periphery of the elastic rubber layer is superposed on an axially upper surface of the outward flange portion portion, and firmly fitted into an open end portion of the cylindrical wall portion of the second mounting member.
