摘要: An X-ray computed tomography (CT) apparatus includes a detector, and processing circuitry. The detector is configured to output, at each incidence of an X-ray photon, a signal enabling measurement of an energy value of the X-ray photon. Processing circuitry is configured to estimate an energy range to be used for imaging based on an imaging condition and to reconstruct X-ray CT image data using counting information to which an energy value within the energy range is associated among pieces of counting information that are collected from individual signals output by the detector at each incidence of an X-ray photon that has been irradiated from an X-ray tube and has passed through a subject, and in which a counting value and an energy value of X-ray photons incident to the detector are associated with each other.

摘要: A PET-MRI device according to an embodiment includes image generators and a derivation unit. The image generators capture an image of a target placed in an effective visual field of a PET by the PET and an MRI so as to generate a PET image and an MR image. The derivation unit calculates a strain correction factor for correcting strain on the MR image based on a positional relation between a target that is expressed on the PET image and a target that is expressed on the MR image.

摘要: In the nuclear medicine imaging apparatus according to the one embodiment, the ADC converts the output data of each of the photodetectors to digital data. The counting information collecting unit collects counting results from the digital data, and the counting information storage unit stores the counting result in association with the digital data. The coincidence counting information generating unit generates coincidence counting information. The image reconstructing unit reconstructs a PET image, based on the coincidence counting information. The time correction data stores a correction time for each of the photodetectors. The system controlling unit controls to correct the detection time of the gamma rays in the digital data associated with each piece of the counting information by use of the correction time, and to generate new coincidence counting information. The system controlling unit controls to reconstruct a new nuclear medicine image, based on the new coincidence counting information generated.

摘要: A positron emission tomography (PET)-magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) apparatus according to an embodiment includes a gantry having a static magnetic field magnet, a gradient coil, and a radio frequency coil, a PET detector, and a moving mechanism. The static magnetic field magnet generates a static magnetic field in a bore having an approximately cylindrical shape. The gradient coil is disposed on an inner circumference side of the static magnetic field magnet and applies a gradient magnetic field to an object disposed in the bore. The radio frequency coil is disposed on an inner circumference side of the gradient coil and applies a radio frequency magnetic field to the object. The PET detector detects gamma rays emitted from a positron-emitting radionuclide injected into the object. The moving mechanism causes the PET detector in the gantry along the axial direction of the bore.

摘要: In a PET (Positron Emission Tomography)-MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) apparatus of an embodiment, a magnet that is a seamless structure generates a static magnetic field in a bore having a cylindrical shape. First detectors and second detectors are each formed in a ring shape and detect gamma rays emitted from positron emitting radionuclides injected into a subject. The first detectors and the second detectors are disposed with a space therebetween in an axial direction of the bore so as to interpose the magnetic field center of the static magnetic field therebetween.

摘要: In a PET (Positron Emission Tomography)-MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) apparatus of an embodiment, a transmitting radio frequency coil applies a radio frequency magnetic field on a subject placed in a static magnetic field. A detector is formed in a ring shape, disposed on a side adjacent to an outer circumference of the transmitting radio frequency coil, includes at least two PET detectors disposed with a space therebetween in an axial direction of a bore so as to interpose the magnetic field center of the static magnetic field therebetween, and detects gamma rays emitted from positron emitting radionuclides injected into the subject. Radio frequency shields are each formed in an approximately cylindrical shape, disposed between the transmitting radio frequency coil and the detector, and shield the radio frequency magnetic field generated by the transmitting radio frequency coil.
