摘要: A method and an apparatus for manufacturing an image displaying apparatus having a display panel. A first substrate of the display panel on which a phosphor exciter is disposed and a second substrate of the display panel on which phosphors emitting light by the phosphor exciter is provided, are prepared under a vacuum atmosphere. Then, the first and the second substrates are carried in a getter processing chamber or bake processing chamber, and getter processing or bake processing is applied thereto under the vacuum atmosphere. After the processing, the first and the second substrates are carried in a seal processing chamber, where the substrates are heat sealed under the vacuum atmosphere. Thus, reduction of vacuum exhaust time and a high vacuum degree in manufacturing an image displaying apparatus is attained and efficiency of manufacturing is improved.

摘要: A method and an apparatus of manufacturing an image displaying apparatus including an electron source substrate and a phosphor substrate. The electron source substrate is provided with an electron emitting element formed by covering with a container and by applying a voltage to an electronic conductor on the substrate. While, the phosphor substrate is provided with a phosphor thereon. The substrates are subjected to a getter processing and to a seal bonding process under a vacuum condition through a processing chamber, to complete an image forming apparatus. An improvement resides in miniaturizing and simplifying operation, and in greater manufacture speed and mass production.

摘要: The present invention provides a method of manufacturing an image display device in which a panel member constituting a panel of an image display device is transferred to a plurality of processing chambers each comprising a temperature control unit, and subjected to a plurality of processing steps under temperature control. The pressure in each of the plurality of processing chambers is set to be not more than that of the previous processing chamber of the transfer process.
