摘要: A semiconductor memory device or a semiconductor device which has high reading accuracy is provided. A bit line, a word line, a memory cell placed in an intersection portion of the bit line and the word line, and a reading circuit electrically connected to the bit line are provided. The memory cell includes a first transistor and an antifuse. The reading circuit includes a pre-charge circuit, a clocked inverter, and a switch. The pre-charge circuit includes a second transistor and a NAND circuit. The semiconductor memory device includes transistor in each of which an oxide semiconductor is used in a channel formation region, as the first transistor and the second transistor.

摘要: It is an object to prevent miswriting by radio in a relatively easy way in a semiconductor device which is capable of data communication (reception/transmission) through wireless communication, in particular, in an RFID tag provided with an OTP memory or a write-once memory. Alternatively, it is an object to prevent data from being tampered. Further alternatively, it is an object to inhibit access to a memory in a relatively easy way and to inhibit reading of data in a semiconductor device which is capable of data communication (reception/transmission) through wireless communication. In a semiconductor device including a control circuit and an OTP memory, a memory includes at least a sector for preventing additional writing and an information sector. When data for preventing additional writing is written to the sector for preventing additional writing and information is written to the information sector which is electrically connected to the sector for preventing additional writing, additional writing to the information sector to which the information is written is impossible.

摘要: Provided is a startup circuit which allows a reference voltage generating circuit to start up and reach a stable equilibrium state in an extremely short period. The startup circuit is configured to hold voltage which is substantially the same as internal voltage of the reference voltage generating circuit in the stable equilibrium state even when power is not supplied to the startup circuit. The voltage is output from the startup circuit to the reference voltage generation circuit when the reference voltage generating circuit is started.

摘要: A signal processing unit with reduced power consumption is provided. A transistor in which a channel is formed in an oxide semiconductor is used for a storage circuit included in the signal processing unit, so that data can be held (stored) even while supply of power is stopped. Non-destructive reading can be performed on the data stored in the storage circuit even when supply of power to the signal processing unit is stopped.
