摘要： An FPC plug, which fits with another connector, comprises a substrate part, a conductive pattern on the surface of the substrate part, a cable part and a connecting part connected to an end of the cable part. The connecting part includes a protruding terminal engaging a terminal of the other connector. The terminal is formed integrally with, and protrudes from a surface of, the conductive pattern; and includes a base end part connected to the surface of the conductive pattern, an upper end part having a width at most equal to the width of the base end part, and a side surface part between the upper end and base end parts. The side surface part recedes toward the inner side in the width direction more than the base end and upper end parts, and includes a minimal point at which the width is at a minimum.

摘要： An FPC plug, which fits with another connector, comprises a substrate part, a conductive pattern on the surface of the substrate part, a cable part and a connecting part connected to an end of the cable part. The connecting part includes a protruding terminal engaging a terminal of the other connector. The terminal is formed integrally with, and protrudes from a surface of, the conductive pattern; and includes a base end part connected to the surface of the conductive pattern, an upper end part having a width at most equal to the width of the base end part, and a side surface part between the upper end and base end parts. 摘要： Accordingly, the board-to-board connector of the Present Disclosure comprises a first connector mounted on a surface of a first board and a second connector mounted on a surface of a second board and mating with the first connector. The first connector includes a flat-shaped main body part, a first conductive body placed on the mating surface of the main body part, and a plurality of male terminals protruding from the surface of the first conductive body. The second connector is a flat-shaped material formed from flat-shaped metal, and includes a plurality of female terminals flexibly retaining the male terminals. Positioning of the male and female terminals is accomplished by the male terminals being retained by the female terminals.

摘要： A connector assembly utilizes improved capacitive coupling for connecting together electrical circuits on two substrates (7, 8). The connector assembly includes first (2) and second (3) connectors respectively attached to first and second circuit substrates. The first connector includes a plurality of first conductors (25) connected to circuits (75) on the first circuit substrate and these conductors have exposed contact surfaces with a dielectric material (4) disposed thereon. The first conductors and associated dielectric material confront second, opposing conductors (35) supported by the second connector frame when the connector frames are engaged together. A liquid dielectric material (45) is interposed between the terminals and the dielectric portions that fills minute gaps which may occur in the dielectric portions to improve the capacitive coupling ability of the connector assembly.

摘要： An electrical connector is provided that includes a plug portion having an upper surface on which one electronic device is disposed, and a receptacle which is disposed on another electronic device. The plug portion has plug side contact conductors which are positioned separately from each other on a lower surface side of the plug portion. Between the plug side contact conductors which are positioned separately from each other, a capacitive coupling conductor is provided. The receptacle has a receptacle side contact conductors which are in contact with the plug side contact conductors. The plug side contact conductors and the receptacle side contact conductors have shapes corresponding to each other, and the receptacle side contact conductors retain the plug side contact conductors while the dielectric isinterposed between the capacitive coupling.

摘要： A connector assembly utilizes capacitive coupling for connecting two substrates. The connector assembly includes first and second connector frames which may be respectively attached to first and second substrates. The first connector frame includes a plurality of first conductors connected to circuits on the first circuit substrate and these conductors have exposed contact surfaces with a dielectric material disposed thereon. The first conductors and associated dielectric material confront second, opposing conductors supported by the second connector frame when the connector frames are engaged together. The first connector frame has a recess formed therein so that its conductors and dielectric material are arranged at a level beneath the top surface of the first connector frame. This recess defines a reservoir and a liquid dielectric material is interposed between the terminals and the dielectric portions in the reservoir, which prevents the liquid dielectric from flowing off the first conductors and dielectric material.
