    摘要: A process for separating carbon monoxide from a feed gas comprising CO.sub.2, CO and less adsorbable component than CO through PSA by using at least two adsorption columns in two stage adsorption operation which comprises a first adsorption stage for removing CO.sub.2 from said feed gas and a second adsorption stage for separating CO from gaseous mixture withdrawn from the first adsorption stage:(1) the first adsorption stage comprising a pressure swing adsorption repeating adsorption and desorption, and(2) the second adsorption stage comprising:(i) pressurization by the first stage product gas,(ii) adsorption,(iii) depressurization,(iv) purge by product gas,(v) evacuation for recovering product gas, and(vi) pressurization by gas withdrawn in other column,periodically switching the flow between or among said columns so as to repeat the above steps in the columns, and a process for separating carbon monoxide from a feed gas comprising carbon monoxide and less adsorbable component than CO through pressure swing adsorption by using at least two adsorption columns containing an adsorbent exhibiting selective adsorb property to carbon monoxide which comprises:(i) pressurization by feed gas,(ii) adsorption,(iii) depressurization,(iv) purge by product gas,(v) evacuation for recovering product gas, and(vi) pressurization by gas withdrawn in other column,periodically switching the flow between or among said columns so as to repeat the above steps in the columns are disclosed.

    摘要: An air cleaning system having a forced negative pressure generating function is provided for defining a space in a room for utilizing the space as a smoking area or the like in which contaminated air such as smoke is prevented from flowing out of the space and is cleaned. The air cleaning system having a forced negative pressure generating function has an air curtain producing unit having a blow-out port for producing air curtains to surround a predetermined space, an air sucking unit having a suction port open to the predetermined space defined by the air curtains for sucking air in the predetermined space, an air exhausting unit having an exhaust port open to the outside of the predetermined space for exhausting air sucked by the air sucking means to the outside of the predetermined space, an air cleaner unit interposed between the exhaust port and the suction port, and an air cleaner body supported by a plurality of stems for accommodating the components. An amount of air exhausted from the exhausted port is set larger than an amount of air externally involved by the air curtains from the outside of the predetermined space to produce a negative pressure in the predetermined space defined by the air curtains. In this way, the negative pressure in the predetermined space prevents contaminated air such as smoke from leaking therefrom, and the air cleaner unit cleans such contaminated air before it is exhausted from the predetermined space.

    摘要: An array of parallel pipes, each having ports through which jet-like air streams exit, are arranged so that a peripherally directed air curtain is formed. The posts are shielded at both ends, and one end is provided with a chimney along a central axis of the air by which air or fluid is removed. By giving the air curtain a centrifugal force, a negative pressure is produced along a central core, and a spiral flow is produced, creating an artificial tornado.
