摘要： A method for processing a silver halide photographic material is disclosed, comprising a support and a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer provided on the frontside of the support, said photographic material being arranged in a processing container containing a processing solution to form a gap or series of continuous gaps adjacent to the surface of the light-sensitive layer between the frontside of the photographic material and the backside of the same photographic material, or between the frontside of the photographic material and a second photographic material, or between the frontside of the photographic material and a light-insensitive member, said gap or continuous series of gaps having a substantially constant gap width, comprising the steps of introducing a processing solution stream into each gap and replacing the processing solution thus introduced in an amount at least equivalent to the capacity of the gaps. A light-sensitive material for photographing is also disclosed, comprising a support in the form of a long roll size having provided thereon at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer, said light-sensitive material having plural intermittent projections at both the left and right hand parallel margin portions along the lengthwise direction of the light-sensitive material. The light-sensitive material for photographing is well adapted for the processing method of the present invention.

摘要： A photosensitive material processing apparatus feeds an elongated film, which is wound on a spool shaft, out from an entrance/exit opening of a film accommodating container, and carries out developing processing of the film. The photosensitive material processing apparatus includes a loading section in which the film accommodating container which accommodates the film is loaded; a feeder which feeds the film out from the film accommodating container loaded in the loading section, in a state in which one longitudinal direction end of the film is anchored to the spool shaft of the film accommodating container; and a processing tank which is sheath-shaped and whose length is longer than a length of a portion of the film which portion is to be processed and which portion has been fed out to an exterior of the film accommodating container, the processing tank having at only one longitudinal direction end portion a film entrance/exit opening through which the film enters and exits. Accordingly, there is no need for devices to separate the film from the spool shaft of the film accommodating container and to join the film and the spool shaft.

摘要： A filter apparatus having a filter element and a stop valve, both incorporated in a body thereof. By means of an engagement, the stop valve is coupled with a cap which is fitted to a body of the filter apparatus by thread-engagement. When the cap is removed from the body for replacement of the filter element, the stop valve rotates together with the cap to close an inlet port of the filter apparatus. On the other hand, when the cap is fitted to the filter apparatus, the stop valve directs the fluid into the filter apparatus since an opening provided in the stop valve coincides with the inlet port because of rotation of the stop valve.

The feed roller has internal contact portions formed on an inner surface of the cover member, the internal contact portions being kept in contact with the outer periphery of the roller body when the cover member is fitted onto the roller body; external contact portions formed on an outer surface of the cover member so as to project outwardly in the radial direction of the cover member; and spaces defined between the inner surfaces of the external contact portions and the outer periphery of the roller body. Accordingly, the cover member can easily be attached to the roller body and enables objects to be fed by a small clamping reaction force, thereby preventing the objects from being damaged.

The heater and the sensor are housed in a protective housing made of a metal or a ceramic material.
