摘要: A method for processing a silver halide photographic material is disclosed, comprising a support and a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer provided on the frontside of the support, said photographic material being arranged in a processing container containing a processing solution to form a gap or series of continuous gaps adjacent to the surface of the light-sensitive layer between the frontside of the photographic material and the backside of the same photographic material, or between the frontside of the photographic material and a second photographic material, or between the frontside of the photographic material and a light-insensitive member, said gap or continuous series of gaps having a substantially constant gap width, comprising the steps of introducing a processing solution stream into each gap and replacing the processing solution thus introduced in an amount at least equivalent to the capacity of the gaps. A light-sensitive material for photographing is also disclosed, comprising a support in the form of a long roll size having provided thereon at least one photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer, said light-sensitive material having plural intermittent projections at both the left and right hand parallel margin portions along the lengthwise direction of the light-sensitive material. The light-sensitive material for photographing is well adapted for the processing method of the present invention.

摘要: Photosensitive material is processed by charging a plurality of serially arranged compartments defined in the interior chamber of a single processing tank with processing solution, and successively passing the photosensitive material through the compartments while maintaining continuous contact with the solution. The solution can be a developer, bleach-fix solution or wash water. An apparatus is also provided comprising a single tank, a plurality of compartments defined in the tank, and feed rollers in the compartments for feeding the photosensitive material through the compartments.

摘要: A processing tank is partitioned into a plurality of compartments which are serially connected to define a continuous processing path having an entrance and an exit for photosensitive material. The path is filled with a processing solution having a desilvering function such that the processing solution in at least one compartment has a different composition from the processing solution in at least one of the remaining compartments. Silver halide photosensitive material is successively passed through the compartments without contact with the ambient air. Desilvering the photosensitive material after exposure and development in this way reduces the amount of processing solution used, especially replenished, while achieving improved photographic properties.

摘要: A space-saving, efficient wash tank is provided in which a plurality of compartments are serially connected through narrow channels to provide a continuous processing path, and wash water is supplied to the path through a selected compartment, whereby a strip of photosensitive material is washed with the water during its passage through the path. This wash tank ensures efficient washing and water saving when the selected compartment has a smaller volume than the remaining compartments or when the selected compartment is substantially emptied of the water during a quiescent period, or bath. Wash water flows in counter flow to the travel direction of photosensitive material during operation and is drained from the lowermost compartment at the end of operation.

摘要: In an apparatus comprising a plurality of processing compartments partitioned in a tank and each filled with a processing solution, a photosensitive material is successively passed through the compartments whereby the photosensitive material is processed by contact with the solution in each compartment. An outlet for discharging the solution is provided at a location other than the first and last compartments, usually at an intermediate compartment. A plurality of inlets for respectively supplying processing solutions having different functions can be provided at different locations so that the apparatus accomplishes two or more functions in a single tank. The apparatus becomes compact and the amount of processing solution replenished is reduced. A steady processing ability is maintained when the first compartment has a smaller volume than the remaining compartments and the solution is replenished to the system in a feedback control mode on the basis of a detected value representative of the amount of the solution supplied.

摘要: Deflection control apparatus for registering the electron beam, rasters of electrostatic-deflection pick-up tubes of a three-tube color television camera includes a compensating voltage generator with inputs connected to receive horizontal and vertical sawtooth deflection signals provided from a deflection signal generator, and outputs providing compensating voltages to adjust for size, skew, and rotation. A combining circuit is provided to add the deflecting signals to the respective compensating voltages to generate adjusted compensating voltages for application to respective electrostatic deflection plates of certain ones of the tubes. For each adjusted deflecting signal, the combining circuit includes a transistor circuit having an input electrode coupled to receive the associated compensating voltage and an output electrode connected through a load resistor to an output of the deflecting signal generator. A pair of SEPP-arranged transistors are provided with their bases connected to the output electrode of the transistor circuit and with their emitters coupled together, through like-value emitter resistors, to a respective deflection plate of one of the tubes. The SEPP-configured transistors permit a high impedance to be presented to the deflection signal generator to minimize the power consumption thereof, and a low resistance to be presented to the deflection plates, to keep the latter from undesirably integrating the deflection sawtooth voltages.
