摘要: An electron lens comprising a first exciting coil, a second exciting coil, a casing for encompassing the first and second exciting coils, and an excitation control apparatus for controlling the excitation state of at least the first exciting coil independently of the second exciting coil. The excitation control apparatus independently controls currents applied to the first and second exciting coils, respectively. At this time, exothermy of each coil can be kept constant and thermal deformation of the casing can be prevented by keeping the sum of the absolute values of the currents applied to the coils.

摘要: Disclosed is a method capable of accelerating the growth of oriented carbon nanotubes when manufacturing the oriented carbon nanotubes by a plasma CVD. Under the circulation of a gas which is the raw material of the carbon nanotubes, plasma is generated by an antenna (6) provided in a depressurized treatment chamber (2), and substrates (9, 15) provided with a reaction prevention layer and a catalyst material layer which are formed on a base material are held at a distance, to which a radical can reach and an attack of an ion generated as a by-product of the radical can be avoided, from a plasma generation area (7). The tip (6a) of the antenna (6) can be controlled so as to match with the position of the anti-node of a stationary wave (27) of microwaves.

摘要: In a pneumatic tire in which the sipe extending in a direction crossing a tire circumferential direction is provided on a land portion (block) of a tread portion, a wide part having a wide groove width is provided at three or more places in a length direction of the sipe, and the wide part and a narrow part are formed alternately on a tread surface along the sipe length direction. A plurality of the wide parts are extended in a sipe depth direction from the tread surface, and are provided by changing extended lengths in the sipe depth direction.

摘要: An object is to provide a process for producing a carbon nanotube (CNT) reinforced composite material, wherein CNT is homogeneously dispersed in a resin to obtain the composite material having an excellent mechanical strength. Hydrophilic CNTs 12 are dispersed in a first solvent 11 to prepare a first dispersion liquid 13. The dispersion liquid 13 and a synthetic resin raw material 15 are added to a second solvent 14 and the resulting mixture is stirred to prepare a third dispersion liquid 17 where a second dispersion liquid 16 in which the synthetic resin raw material 15 is dissolved in the dispersion liquid 13 is dispersed in the solvent 14. The solvents 11 and 14 are removed from the dispersion liquid 17 to obtain a mixture of the hydrophilic CNTs 12 and the synthetic resin raw material 15. The mixture is molded to obtain the composite material in which the synthetic resin is reinforced with the hydrophilic CNTs 12. The second solvent 14 has smaller solubility of the synthetic resin raw material 15 than that of the solvent 11, is substantially not compatible to the solvent 11, and has volume larger than that of the solvent 11. The dispersion liquid 17 is sprayed on a substrate and the solvents 11 and 14 are removed to obtain the mixture and simultaneously to conduct molding of the mixture.

摘要: The invention provides a pneumatic tire which can obtain a sufficient engagement force in a depth direction in comparison with a known pattern while making good use of an advantage of a waveform sipe, and is hard to be affected in an inhibiting effect in accordance with a collapsing direction of a block. In a pneumatic tire provided with a tread pattern having a plurality of blocks forming a plurality of sipes therein, the sipe is formed in a zigzag or wavy line shape on a surface of the block and formed as a waveform groove in a depth direction, and the waveform groove has an auxiliary wavy portion in a wavy surface direction, and has a concave portion in a peak portion of the wave.
