摘要： A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material containing a novel cyan dye forming coupler is disclosed. The cyan dye forming coupler is represented by the following formula. ##STR1## In the formula R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each a substituent, and X is a group capable of being splitted off from the coupler residue upon reaction of the coupler residue with the oxydized product of a color developing agent; and the total number of carbon atoms contained in the groups represented by R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and X is from 8 to 50. The spectral absorption characteristics of cyan dye images formed by the coupler of the invention are so sharp and steep that color reproduction can be achieved very advantageously.

摘要： A novel organic non-linear optical material and a device using the same are disclosed. The material hardly makes reversal symmetrical molecular configuration in a bulk state such as a crystal and a thin layer and shows a high non-linear optical effect. A non-linear optical device using the material has an excellent properties. The organic non-linear optical material is comprised of the following compound: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are independently a hydrogen atom, a cyano group, a phenyl group, an amino group, an alkoxy group, an acylamino group, an alkylthio group, an alkyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, carbamoyl group or a heterocyclic group, provided that R.sub.3 is allowed to link together with R.sub.4 to form a ring and R.sub.1, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are not hydrogen atom at the same time; R.sub.2 is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an acyl group; and said groups represented by R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and the ring formed by linking the groups represented by R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are allowed to have a substituent.

摘要： A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed which comprises a silver halide emulsion layer containing a novel cyan dye-forming coupler. The photographic material is improved in color reproducibility of color images formed thereon. The coupler is represented by the following Formula I. ##STR1## wherein A is an organic group combined with the imidazole ring by a carbon atom, a nitrogen atom, an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom contained in these group; B is an ##STR2## a --L--R.sub.4 group or a ##STR3## in which R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are each a hydrogen atom or a substituent, provided that R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are allowed to bind to complete a ring; L is an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; R.sub.4 is a hydrogen atom or a substituent; and Z is a group of non-metal atoms necessary to form a five to seven-member heterocyclic ring which contains an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or a nitrogen atom; X is a hydrogen atom, or a group capable of being split off upon reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent.
