    摘要: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material containing a novel cyan dye forming coupler is disclosed. The cyan dye forming coupler is represented by the following formula. ##STR1## In the formula R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each a substituent, and X is a group capable of being splitted off from the coupler residue upon reaction of the coupler residue with the oxydized product of a color developing agent; and the total number of carbon atoms contained in the groups represented by R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and X is from 8 to 50. The spectral absorption characteristics of cyan dye images formed by the coupler of the invention are so sharp and steep that color reproduction can be achieved very advantageously.

    摘要: There is disclosed a light-sensitive silver halide color photographic material containing novel cyan coupler which comprises a light-sensitive silver halide color photographic material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support, characterized in that at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layer contains at least one cyan coupler represented by the formula (I) shown below: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represent an alkyl group, an aryl group, a heterocyclic group, a dialkylamino group, an anilino group, an alkoxy group or an arloxy group; R.sub.3 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; R.sub.4 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, A R.sub.5 CO--group or a R.sub.5 SO.sub.2 --group; provided that R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 cannot be hydrogen atoms at the same time; R.sub.5 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, a dialkylamino group, an anilino group, an alkoxy group or an aryloxy group; and X represents a hydrogen atom or an eliminatable group through the reaction with the oxidized product of a color developing agent.

    摘要: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material containing a novel magenta dye-forming coupler. The coupler is represented by the following Formula I: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom or a substituent; R.sub.2 is a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group or a substituted or unsubstituted amino group; provided, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are allowed to bond together so as to complete a ring; Z is a hydrogen atom or a group capable of being split off upon coupling reaction with the oxidized product of a an aromatic primary amine developing agent; and EWG is an electron attractive group having a Hammet's .sigma. p value of more than 0.3. The photographic material has excellent color reproducibility and improved in color forming efficiency and graininess of images.
