    摘要: A method of analyzing data based on the physiological orientation of a driver is provided. Data is descriptive of a driver's gaze-direction is processing and criteria defining a location of driver interest is determined. Based on the determined criteria, gaze-direction instances are classified as either on-location or off-location. The classified instances can then be used for further analysis, generally relating to times of elevated driver workload and not driver drowsiness. The classified instances are transformed into one of two binary values (e.g., 1 and 0) representative of whether the respective classified instance is on or off location. The uses of a binary value makes processing and analysis of the data faster and more efficient. Furthermore, classification of at least some of the off-location gaze direction instances can be inferred from the failure to meet the determined criteria for being classified as an on-location driver gaze direction instance.

    摘要: A method and system for modifying a drive plan, especially a drive/rest schedule of such a plan, of a vehicle before and/or during a drive towards a desired destination is provided in which (a) a development of the alertness level of a driver is predicted, (b) points in time are determined and classified as high risk instances, where the predicted development becomes equal to or smaller than a predetermined threshold level, (c) the high risk instances are compared with the drive plan or drive/rest schedule and it is determined whether any high risk instance will occur before the destination or a next planned stop or rest is reached and (d1) if a high risk instance is determined to occur before the destination or the next planned stop or rest is reached, a modified drive plan or drive/rest schedule is calculated such that a stop or rest will occur before or at the next high risk instance.

    摘要: The present invention generally relates to a method for improving the reliability of a portion of physiological data from an image sensor monitoring an operator positioned in an operator compartment of a vehicle. An embodiment of the method includes receiving, from the image sensor, physiological data including information relating to at least one of eye, face, head, arms and body motion of the operator, identifying an indication of at least an eyelid closure, eye movement or head movement of the operator based on the physiological data; comparing at least one of the physiological data and a lighting condition within the operator compartment with a set of rules for a current operator status; and classifying the type of eyelid closure, eye movement and/or head movement by correlating the identified eyelid closure, eye movement and/or head movement and a result of the comparison.
