    摘要: A signal suppressing apparatus for suppressing undesired signal components, in which a first filter electrically simulating a propagation system A of a physical phenomena such as a sound, vibration, electricity, etc. is mounted; a signal having a correlation to the signal to be input to the propagation system A is input to this first filter; and the output of the first filter exerts an influence upon the signal passing the propagation system A to make the passed signal approximate the intended value, wherein the first filter is split into a plurality of filters, each of which is composed by a discrete DSP, outputs are individually calculated in the split individual filters, and the individual calculation results are tabulated, whereby a value the same as the value obtained where the calculation is made without splitting of the first filter is obtained. This enables high speed signal processing even if a high speed DSP is not used.

The sound pressure level prediction apparatus also includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire sound pressure levels measured at a plurality of locations for a first fan and at least one sound pressure level for a second fan, and the at least one sound pressure level being measured at the same location as at least one of the plurality of locations used for measuring the sound pressure levels for the first fan. The sound pressure level prediction apparatus further includes a prediction unit configured to predict, based on the acquired sound pressure levels of the first fan and the at least one sound pressure level for the second fan, a sound pressure level for the second fan at a location where the sound pressure level for the second fan has not yet been measured.

    摘要: A sound-volume prediction apparatus acquires model information on an electronic device and positional information on an air intake section and/or an air-exhaust section of the electronic device. Furthermore, by using the model information and the positional information, the sound-volume prediction apparatus extends a sound ray that indicates a transmission route of sound generated by a sound source inside the electronic device toward the air-intake section and/or the air-exhaust section from the position of the sound source until the sound ray reaches the outside of the electronic device. The sound-volume prediction apparatus predicts sound transmission characteristics inside the electronic device by using geometric information on the flow path of the extended sound ray.
