摘要: A solar cell module according to the invention includes a solar cell; a light guiding portion including a first fluorescent substance having a faint color and that emits light having low luminosity factor, the light guiding portion absorbing part of light incident from the outside using the first fluorescent substance and transmitting a first light beam emitted from the first fluorescent substance toward the solar cell; and a converter disposed between the light guiding portion and the solar cell, the converter converting the first light beam incident from the light guiding portion into a second light beam to which the solar cell has higher spectral sensitivity than to the first light beam and causing the second light beam to be incident on the solar cell. Thus, when the solar cell module is used as a window, the solar cell module is highly transparent and highly efficiently generates power.

摘要: In order to realize a transparent solar cell module with a high design freedom, a solar cell module (10) includes a light guide plate (1) and a solar cell element (2). The light guide plate (1) includes, on its back surface opposite to its light entry surface, traveling direction changing sections (11) for changing a traveling direction of light incident via the light entry surface. Each of the traveling direction changing sections (11) includes a first inclined surface (11a) for reflecting the light incident via the light entry surface and a second inclined surface (11b). The solar cell element (2) is provided on, among intersecting surfaces which intersect with the light entry surface of the light guide plate (1), an end face that light reflected by the first inclined surface (11a) reaches.

摘要: A solar cell unit (100) of the present invention includes (i) a fluorescence converging plate (2) that contains fluorescent materials (6) for absorbing invisible light and then emitting invisible light and (ii) a solar cell (4) provided on an end surface (2a) of the fluorescence converging plate (2) so as to have a light receiving surface which faces the ends surface (2a). When the fluorescence converging plate (2) is irradiated with external light, the fluorescent materials (6) emit invisible light which is then reflected in the fluorescence converging plate (2) and thereafter converged onto the end surface (2a). The solar cell (4) carries out electric power generation by use of fluorescence converged onto the end surface (2a) of the fluorescence converging plate (2). Conversely, visible light, with which the fluorescence converging plate (2) is irradiated, is transmitted through the fluorescence converging plate (2) without being absorbed by the fluorescent materials (6). The invisible light emitted from the fluorescent materials (6) is ultraviolet light or infrared light, and is therefore invisible to human eyes. This causes the fluorescence converging plate (2) to be perceived as having color close to transparent in a case where the fluorescence converging plate (2) is observed from a side opposite from a main surface irradiated with the light.

摘要: A backlight device of the present invention includes a substrate (2), a liquid crystal layer (4), and a scattering layer (5). The substrate (2) has a surface facing the liquid crystal layer (4), on which surface two comb electrodes (3a and 3b) are provided. The comb electrode (3a) includes a plurality of comb-teeth parts (33a) meshing with a plurality of comb-teeth parts (33b) of the comb electrode (3b). Therefore, the comb electrodes (3a and 3b) can causes electric fields to be generated, in response to an applied voltage, in at least two directions each parallel to the surface of the substrate (2). Further, there is a region whose effective refractive indexes with respect to polarized light p and polarized light s become large. It is therefore possible to control emission of both the polarized light p and the polarized light s.

The light diffusion section (3) is provided on a light-incident surface of the light guide plate (1), which light-incident surface receives sunlight. Further, the solar cell element (2) is provided on an intersecting surface (end surface) which intersects the light-incident surface of the light guide plate (1). The light diffusion section (3) is provided so that the farther away from the solar cell element (2) a position is, the larger an amount of light diffused by the light diffusion section (3) is. The light diffusion section (3) diffuses light entering the light guide plate (1), so as to enhance efficiency of gathering light to the solar cell element (2).

The syringe is traveled in an end direction of a guide member side, the syringe is rotated about an axial line, and translated into a horizontal storage posture.
