Abstract: A device can obtain historical accident data identifying accidents within a geographic region. The device can classify geographic areas within the geographic region as being sparse accident-prone zones (APZs) or dense APZs by processing the historical accident data using a clustering technique and clustering parameters. The device can generate data identifying geographic boundaries of the sparse APZs and the dense APZs. The device can provide the data identifying the geographic boundaries to be stored using a data structure. The device can receive telematics data associated with a vehicle within the geographic region. The device can determine whether the vehicle is in or approaching a particular APZ based on whether a location of the vehicle is within the particular APZ or based on whether the vehicle is likely to enter the particular APZ. The device can provide an alert to the vehicle or a user device associated with the vehicle.

Abstract: One or more devices associated with a first vehicle receives location information that specifies a location of a second vehicle. The one or more devices determine, based on the location information, that the second vehicle is within a threshold distance of the first vehicle. The one or more devices establish, based on determining that the second vehicle is within the threshold distance of the first vehicle, a peer-to-peer (P2P) connection with the second vehicle. The one or more devices receive from the second vehicle, and by using the P2P connection, content that has been captured by a camera component associated with the second vehicle. The one or more devices cause an interface associated with the first vehicle to display the content.

Abstract: A safety platform may receive travel information associated with a first cellular device. The safety platform may identify, based on the travel information associated with the first cellular device, one or more other cellular devices that are located within a distance threshold from the first cellular device. The safety platform may determine that a second cellular device, of the one or more other cellular devices, is traveling on a path toward the first cellular device and at a speed that satisfies a speed threshold. The safety platform may transmit, based on determining that the second cellular device is traveling on the path toward the first cellular device and at the speed that satisfies the speed threshold, an instruction to the first cellular device to display a safety alert.
