摘要: Determining and storing at least one validated results set in a global ontology database for future use by an entity that subscribes to the global ontology database. If global ontology data is stored in a global ontology database, attempt to determine a mapping between first and second ontologies. If a mapping between the first and second ontologies can be determined from the global ontology data, the mapping is validated and the validated mapping is defined as a validated results set. If global ontology data is not stored in a global ontology database or a mapping between the first and second ontologies can not be determined from global ontology data stored in the global ontology database, the first and second ontologies are unified by determining a mapping between the first and second ontologies, the mapping is validated and the validated mapping is defined as a validated results set. The validated results set is stored in the global ontology database for future use by an entity that subscribes to the global ontology database.

摘要: The present invention includes a method and system for invoking service offerings. The method can include the steps of initiating (320) a push-to-service request, enabling (304) a Voice Recognition Server (VRS), ranking (306) a list of supported service offerings, and presenting the list on a display for identifying at least one service offering that is available as a service to the user. The method and system can include speaking (308) a voice request for selecting at least one service presented on the display, and establishing (310) a communication dialogue with a service provider of the service for connecting the service provider for providing the service to the user. The push-to-service request can be invoked by a user depressing a service button (120) on the first communication unit (100) using a push-action. The VRS (220) can handle the voice request and generate a list of service offerings ranked by priority for presentation on the display. The process can include a control protocol to negotiate at least one device characteristic with at least one service provider.

摘要: The present solution includes a real-time automated communication method. In the method, a real-time communication session can be established between a text exchange client and a speech application. A translation table can be identified that includes multiple entries, each entry including a text exchange item and a corresponding conversational translation item. A text exchange message can be received that was entered into a text exchange client. Content in the text exchange message that matches a text exchange item in the translation table can be substituted with a corresponding conversational item. The translated text exchange message can be sent as input to a voice server. Output from the voice server can be used by the speech application, which performs an automatic programmatic action based upon the output.

摘要: A method for providing Interactive Voice Response functionality within a multi-tiered telephony environment can identify an enterprise archive file that contains an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) application. The enterprise archive file can contain multiple interpreters for different markup languages. The enterprise archive file can also include a servlet that maps the interpreters to telephony sessions. The enterprise archive file can be deployed within a J2EE compliant application server having a SIP interface. The deployed IVR application can be utilized to provide IVR functions for SIP based telephony sessions.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for deploying and delivering composite services in an NGN network. A collision detection and resolution method for updating a model in a composite services enablement environment can include establishing for a single session having a corresponding model, multiple channels of communication for different corresponding channels of access to a service. The method further can include synchronizing updates to the model by individual ones of the channels of access to the services for each of the channels of access to the services. The method yet further can include detecting collisions in synchronizing the updates to the model. Finally, the method can include rejecting the updates to the model when collisions are detected.

摘要: A business method for centrally managing documents in a client server system. The business method is operable in a client-server system with a database, a voice response system and a fax reception system to a telecommunications network. A user through the voice response system, provides a login request over the telecommunications network using a fax machine with a telephone. The system checks to determine if the user has an account and if the user does not have an account setting up an account with the user over the telecommunications network. Next, the user via the voice response system provides a category to be associate with a document to be faxed from the user. The user faxes a document to be stored in the database that is associated with a category under an account for the user. To retrieve a document previously faxed for storage, the information relating to the document is searchable and the document can be faxed back to the user fax machine. In an alternate embodiment, a computer readable medium and system is disclosed that corresponds to the method above.

摘要: A method for controlling subscription services delivered to a user by an Internet Service Provider (ISP) coupled to an Automated Intelligent Network (AIN) telephone system with at least one central office switching system. An intelligent peripheral subsystem is connected to the central office switching system, via a call connection channel. The intelligent peripheral subsystem providing at least one auxiliary call processing capability via the call connection channel and provides a telephony speaker authentication method for selectively authorizing updates to user subscription services types provided by the ISP, wherein each of the subscription services types include one or more service options. The method for controlling subscription services including: a) prompting for a voice response; b) authenticating a user's voice response pattern by performing a speaker-dependent cepstrum matching algorithm with previously stored samples of the user's voice response, and if the user's voice response pattern is positively authenticated with previously stored samples, then performing the steps of: c) presenting a menu of user subscription types, each with available AIN service options; and d) responding to a user selection of at least one user subscription types, each with service option, by activating a service option selected by the user, wherein the service option is governed by said ISP by regulating one or more Uniform Resource Locator (URL) addresses received by a user subscriber device from said ISP over a telecommunication line.
