Abstract: A rotor blade of a rotor of a wind turbine, and to an associated wind turbine, and to a method for optimizing a wind turbine. Prior to being mounted on the wind turbine, the rotor blade is split at a parting point into an inner blade section and an outer blade section, wherein a longitudinal direction of the rotor blade is defined from the root section to the blade tip, wherein the rotor blade has at least one swirl element, wherein the swirl element has an extent in the longitudinal direction of the rotor blade, wherein a distance between a start, facing toward the root section, and an end, facing toward the rotor blade tip, of the swirl element in the longitudinal direction is referred to as total length, and wherein a distance between the parting point and the outer end of the swirl element is referred to as outer length, wherein a ratio of outer length to total length is less than 0.25.

Abstract: A synchronous generator of a gearless wind turbine is provided. The synchronous generator includes a rotor and a stator. The stator has a stator ring having teeth and slots arranged therebetween for receiving a stator winding. In a circumferential direction, the stator ring is divided into stator segments, each having an equal number of slots. Within a segment, the slots have a substantially equal spacing with respect to each another in the circumferential direction. In at least one connecting region of two segments, the spacing of at least two adjacent slots, which are each assigned to one of two different segments, differs from the spacing of the slots within a segment. The stator winding is formed with form coils. A method for producing a synchronous generator is provided and a use of aluminum and copper form coils in the generator is provided.

Abstract: A stator carrier for a stator of a wind turbine generator, in particular a multi-pole slowly rotating synchronous ring generator. It is proposed that the stator comprises a first carrier plate, a second carrier plate, a cavity which is provided between the two carrier plates and is open radially outwardly, a separating plate which is arranged between the two carrier plates and which subdivides the cavity into a first cavity portion and a second cavity portion, wherein there is provided a number of first flow passages extending from the first carrier plate directly into the second cavity portion and a number of second flow passages extending from the second carrier plate directly into the first cavity portion. There is further proposed a stator having such a stator carrier as well as a generator and a wind turbine having same.
