Object of the invention are new diisatoic acid and triisatoic acid derivatives of the general formula I ##STR1## wherein n represents 2 or 3, X stands for oxygen or sulfur and R for a group of the general formula IIY--Z--B].sub.m, (II)in which m stands for 1 or 2, Y for B when m is 1 and Y further represents a di- or trivalent alkyl group with 1 to 5 carbon atoms when m is 2, B represents alkylene with 1 to 4 carbon atoms and Z stands for phenylene-1,4-dioxy or diphenylene-4,4'-dioxy optionally singly or multiply substituted by Cl, NO.sub.2 or alkyl or for a 5- to 7-membered heterocyclic ring which is optionally substituted by one or more of said substituents and has one or more atoms selected from the group consisting of N, S and O as members of the ring, with a benzene nucleus optionally being annulated to said ring, and a process for the production of these compounds which is characterized in that a compound of the general formula IIIR--XH).sub.n (III)wherein R, X and n have the meaning defined above is reacted with at least two equivalents of isatoic acid anhydride, preferably in the presence of strong bases, as well as the use of these new compounds for the preparation of plastic materials.

Poly(thio) ethers having terminal amino groups, said ethers having the formula: ##STR1## wherein X is oxygen or sulfur and R stands for a group of the formula ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 to R.sub.4 represent hydrogen or halogen and B stands for a divalent polyalkylene ether group or a polyalkylene thioether group or mixtures thereof such as is obtained by removal of the hydroxyl or mercapto groups from a polyalkylene ether diol or a polyalkylene thioether dithiol of a molecular weight of 100 to 15000. A process for the production and application is also disclosed. These ethers are used in the production of poly ureas having increased thermal stability and improved tensile and structural strength.

Polyurea polymer compositions produced by reaction of isocyanates with compounds having terminal amino groups, said compounds being of the formula ##STR1## wherein z is 2 or 3, X is oxygen or sulfur and R stands for a z-valent group of the formula ##STR2## wherein k is 1 or 2, A is alkylidene or alkylated or non-alkylated vinylene, Y is B when k=1 and z=2; when k=2 and z=2; then Y is --CH.sub.2 --; when k=2 and z=3, then Y is ##STR3## and B in each case represents a divalent polyalkylene ether group or a polyalkylene thioether group such as is obtained by removal of the hydroxyl or mercapto groups from a polyalkylene ether diol or a polyalkylene thioether diol of a molecular weight of 100 to 15000. The polymer compositions are useful for the formation of vehicle tires of all types and for the formation of portions of vehicle wheels, for belts, fasteners and shoe soles.

The present invention relates to the use of specific amphiphilic alkoxyates as synergistic adjuvant for agrotechnical applications. Suitable agrotechnical compositions are also described. Thus, the addition of such alkoxylates makes possible an accelerated uptake of active ingredients by the plant.The alkoxylates to be used are alkoxylates based on branched alcohols such as 2-propylheptanol, C13-oxo alcohols and C10-oxo alcohols.
