    摘要: A structure and driving method for active photoelectric element that aims to every matrix-arranged pixel on the display panel. The pixel structure includes a set of first thin film diodes and a set of second thin film diodes. The first set and the second set of film diodes are connected at a node. The electrical impedances of the first set and the second set of film diodes are unsymmetrical. The first set of film diodes connects to the select lines of the pixel while the second set of film diodes connects to the select lines of the pixel on the next row, which forms a configuration that the up/down pixels share one select line. Consequently, the driving signal for the up select line of a single pixel is determined by the driving signal for the down select line of the up pixel so as to reduce the quantity of select lines.

    摘要: A structure and driving method for active photoelectric element that aims to every matrix-arranged pixel on the display panel. By adjusting the relative positions of the figures of slit or bump structure between electrodes, the pre-tilt angles and tilting directions of liquid crystal molecules can be controlled, and a multi-domain division alignment is formed, and thus a multi-domain division, semi-transmissive, and wide view angle liquid crystal panel can be formed.

    摘要: A structure of liquid crystal display (LCD) with a wide viewing angle is presented. In this invention, a slit pattern of a pixel electrode is definded by using an etching process. Thereafter, a reflection layer which defines a reflective region and a transmissive region is constructed along the top or bottom of the slit of the pixel electrode, and wherein a slit or bump pattern can be included in the top electrode further. Therefore, by adjusting the relative positions of the slit or bump structures in the electrodes and by using the fringe effect of electric field, the tilt direction of the LC molecules in a LC cell is controlled and the effect of semi-transmitted wide viewing angle of multi-domain division is formed.

The active device array substrate has at least one pixel unit including two active devices, two first pixel electrodes, and two common lines. Each of the active devices has a gate, a source, and a drain. A first signal source connected with one of the common lines is different from a second signal source connected with the other one of the common lines. The display panel is provided with a stripe sub-pixel arrangement in which sub-pixels arranged in a first direction have identical colors, and sub-pixels arranged in a second direction have distinct colors. The pixel density in the first direction is twice the pixel density in the second direction of the stripe sub-pixel arrangement. The parallax optic has view-separation elements arranged in the first direction into multiple rows. Each view-separation element is positioned corresponding to two adjacent sub-pixels, and the view-separation elements in one row are staggered relative to the view-separation elements in immediately adjacent rows.

The first control circuit determines the output voltage of the first region and includes a first switching device, a first liquid crystal capacitor and a first storage capacitor coupled to the first switching device. The second control circuit determines the output voltage of the second region and includes a second switching device, a second liquid crystal capacitor and an auxiliary capacitor coupled to the second switching device, and a third switching device. The third switching device is coupled to the second switching device through the auxiliary capacitor, and the output voltage of the first region is different to that of the second region.

    摘要: An optical touch panel including a light guide plate, at least one light-emitting element and a plurality of optical sensing elements and a touchscreen using the same are provided. The light guide plate has a plurality of lateral surfaces, a top surface, a bottom surface and a light extraction structure. The light-emitting element provides a light beam entering the light guide plate. The optical sensing elements are disposed under the bottom surface of the light guide plate. Each of the optical sensing elements has a sensing surface not parallel to the bottom surface of the light guide plate. The optical sensing elements are disposed at an illuminated region of the light beam provided by the light-emitting element. By the light extraction structure, a second portion of the light beam entered the light guide plate is scattered to the optical sensing elements from the bottom surface.
