Abstract:
A method and an apparatus is provided for monitoring and adjusting a power level of a transmitting component. The method comprises receiving a request from a remote unit to provide a power level associated with a transmitting component, wherein the request is transmitted over a communications protocol. The method includes measuring a power level of a signal provided by the transmitting component in response to receiving the request from the remote unit, and providing the measured power level to the remote unit over the communications protocol.
Abstract:
An embodiment of a writing system for a phase change memory based on a present application is disclosed. The writing system comprises a first phase change memory (PCM) cell, a second PCM cell, a first writing circuit and a verifying circuit. The first writing circuit executes a writing procedure, receives and writes a first data to the first PCM cell. The verifying circuit executes a verifying procedure and the circuit further comprises a processing unit and a second writing circuit. The processing unit reads and compares the data stored in the second PCM cell with a second data. The second writing circuit writes the second data to the second PCM cell when the data stored in the second PCM cell and the second data are not matched.
Abstract:
A data programming circuit for storing a writing data into a memory cell is provided. The data programming circuit includes a control circuit and a current generating circuit. The control circuit generates a control signal according to the writing data. The current generating circuit provides a writing current to the memory cell to change a crystalline state of the memory cell. The writing current has a pulse width corresponding to the writing data, and the crystalline state corresponds to the writing data.
Abstract:
A flat panel display with detachable anti-vibrate speaker includes a speaker body with a front bezel attached at least one speaker driver, a rear bezel and a middle frame. The middle frame with a bottom positioning hole is made of an elastic material and situated between the front bezel and the rear bezel, and an elastic rib is formed on an inner surface of the middle frame to separate and to be against the front bezel and the rear bezel. A stand includes a positioning structure and a top surface groove. The positioning structure is assembled inside the top surface groove and is blocked by a blocking member fixed on an upper surface of the top surface groove. An elastic member is situated in the bottom of the top surface groove and a positioning member with a round top is located between the blocking member and the elastic member and is pushed to fit the positioning hole by the elastic member.

Abstract:
Devices controlling a phase change storage element and methods for increasing reliability of a phase change storage element. The invention introduces a first operation mode and a second operation mode. A reference phase change storage element is forced a write current for an ideal conduction period in the first operation mode. In the second operation mode, the invention generates a proper conduction period based on the resistance of the reference phase change storage element, and forces the write current into the controlled phase change storage element for the proper conduction period.
Abstract:
A geometric construction system includes: a plurality of flat panels; and a plurality of connecting units provided on side edges of the flat panels. Each connecting unit includes first and second engaging parts. The first engaging part is formed with a protrusion, and the second engaging part is formed with a recess such that the protrusion of the first engaging part on one of the flat panels is releasably engageable with the recess of the second engaging part on another of the flat panels. The second engaging part is further formed with resilient claws that project from a periphery of the recess. The claws of the second engaging part on one of the flat panels clamp resiliently the protusion of the first engaging part on another of the flat panels when the protrusion is moved into the recess of the second engaging part.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for providing status information on a substantially real-time basis in a communications system. The method comprises determining usage as a function of capacity of one or more connections of a base station. The one or more connections are capable of carrying data to and from the base station. The method further comprises displaying the usage for the one or more connections of the base station in substantially real-time.
Abstract:
A tubular connector includes a tubular member and a retaining member. The tubular member includes proximate and distal tubular ends, and an intermediate portion interposed therebetween. The intermediate portion has an outer surrounding wall surface which is formed with two slits and a transverse slit inter-communicated with the two slits to thereby form a resilient tongue portion. The retaining member is disposed on the resilient tongue portion to be adapted to engage an engaging hole in a rod member.
Abstract:
A decoration includes a hollow base assembly, a bulb, a sound generating unit, a motor, a mounting ring fixed on the base assembly, several superposed intermediate rotary rings disposed between the mounting ring and the base, and an upper rotary ring disposed on and above the mounting ring. Any adjacent two of the upper rotary ring, the mounting ring, the intermediate rotary rings and the base have a bearing mechanism which includes several circumferentially spaced-apart ball positioning units, and several balls respectively positioned within the ball positioning units. The balls are confined in the ball positioning units so as to facilitate relative rotation between any adjacent two of the upper rotary ring, the mounting ring, the intermediate rotary rings and the base. When the motor is powered, the upper rotary ring and the intermediate rotary rings rotate relative to the base assembly and the mounting ring.
