    摘要: A billiard aim instruction kit for pocket billiards. A position reference tool is placed at locations on a pocket billiard table surface and aligned aiming toward a pocket. A marking powder packet is used to mark each location. The position reference tool is then removed to reveal each location's aiming point reference mark, 5 object ball position marks, 5 aiming angle reference marks and a center hit cue ball direction reference mark. An object ball is centered on the 5 object ball position marks of each location marked and rail indicators mark the rail for cue ball direction. The student shoots the cue ball from one of 5 different aiming angle reference points a multiplicity of times without further marking procedures. After each shot the student receives feed back as he compares results with the rail indicator and graphics on the position reference tool.

    摘要: Optical bodies are disclosed that include an optical film and at least one rough strippable skin layer operatively connected to a surface of the optical film. The at least one rough strippable skin layer can include a continuous phase and a disperse phase. Alternatively, the at least one rough strippable skin layer can include a first polymer, a second polymer different from the first polymer and an additional material that is substantially immiscible in at least one of the first and second polymers. In some exemplary embodiments, a surface of the at least one rough strippable skin layer adjacent to the optical film comprises a plurality of protrusions and the adjacent surface of the optical film comprises a plurality of asymmetric depressions substantially corresponding to said plurality of protrusions. In addition, optical bodies are disclosed that include an optical film having a surface with asymmetric depressions, the asymmetric depressions having a major dimension substantially collinear with a major axis of the optical film and a minor direction substantially collinear with a minor axis of the optical film. Methods of making such exemplary optical bodies are also disclosed.

    摘要: An analog front-end having built-in equalization includes a control module and a tunable gain stage. The control module is operably coupled to provide a frequency response setting based on a channel response of a channel providing high-speed serial data to the analog front-end. The tunable gain stage includes a frequency dependent load and an amplifier input section. The frequency dependent load is adjusted based on the frequency response setting. The amplifier input section is operably coupled to the frequency dependent load and receives the high-speed serial data. In conjunction with the frequency dependent load, the amplifier input section amplifies and equalizes the high-speed serial data to produce an amplified and equalized serial data.

    摘要: A multi-flavor valve for dispensing at least three flavors of beverages includes a single-piece injection-molded valve body having at least three syrup flow paths, a water flow path, and one water flow path solenoid for opening and closing the water flow path. Three syrup flow path solenoids are positioned in the corresponding syrup flow paths. The water flow path solenoid is positioned in the water flow path, within the valve body. The valve has beverage flavor switches for selecting the beverage flavors for dispensation. The valve includes an electronics module electrically connected to the solenoids and to the beverage flavor switches, the electronics module causing one of the syrup flow path solenoids to open the corresponding syrup flow path of the syrup corresponding to a selected flavor switch, and causing the water flow path solenoid to open the water flow path, causing the valve to dispense the selected beverage flavor.

One implementation of a method for capturing a failure error of an optical storage drive may include detecting the failure error of the optical storage drive.     摘要: A beverage dispensing system with a base to which a dispensing head is removably attached without additional fasteners, wherein beverage forming liquids are supplied through a plurality of separate conduits in the base. Each base conduit has a normally closed valve that normally blocks fluid flow. The dispensing head has at least one passageway that receives liquid from an associated one of the base conduits. A projection associated with each dispensing head passageway opens the associated conduit valve to allow fluid flow from the base to the head. Dispensing valves in the dispensing head are independently accountable to regulate the dispensing of the beverage. In one version of the invention, four liquids are supplied to the dispensing head through the conduits, namely two liquid concentrates; carbonated water; and non-carbonated water. By selective opening of the dispensing valves, a plurality of beverages are formed from combinations of one or more of the liquids. A dispensing head for dispensing at least one carbonated fluid includes an inlet opening and an outlet opening at each end of a passage extending through a body, the inlet opening having a smaller cross-sectional area than the outlet opening.
