    摘要: A combined proximity monitoring and locating system including a wearable unit, a proximity detector, and a control subsystem. The proximity detector includes a receiver for receiving the wearable unit transmitter signal, a processing subsystem configured to signal an alert if the wearable unit transmitter signal strength is below a pre-established minimum, and a tracking subsystem configured to assist in locating the wearable unit based on the signal strength of the wearable unit transmitter signal. A control subsystem is responsive to an indication that the alert has been signaled. The control subsystem includes an RF transmitter configured to transmit a transponder activation signal, and an RF antenna network for relaying the transponder activation signal to a receiver of the portable unit to activate the transponder thereof. A tracking unit includes a receiver configured to receive the transponder signal of the wearable unit to locate the wearable unit.

    摘要: A multi-spectral sensor assembly having a plurality of mosaics of four-side buttable focal plane arrays in which each mosaic array is responsive to a different range of the electromagnetic spectrum. The scene image is received through a baffled solar shade to a beam-splitting element which transmits a first portion of the received image in a first electromagnetic spectrum to a short wave infrared (SWIR) buttable focal plane array detector element. The beam-splitting element transmits a second portion of the received image in a second electromagnetic spectrum to a mid-wave infrared (MWIR) buttable focal plane array detector element by means of a folding mirror. The first and second portions of the received image are passed through a filter wheel having multiple selectable optical filters to provide a multi-spectral imaging system.

    摘要: A recovery system with repeating communication capabilities. The system includes a station configured to send an activation message, at least a first “primary” remote transmitting unit responsive to the station and configured to transmit the activation message and at least a one “secondary” remote transmitting unit. That unit includes a receiver which receives the activation message, a transmitter for transmitting the activation message, and a controller responsive to the receiver and controlling the transmitter. The controller is programmed to transmit the activation message and then automatically stop transmission of the activation message after a predetermined time period unless the activation message is again received.
