Abstract:
A glove includes spaces formed at parts corresponding to the knuckle part of the hand and joint parts of the fingers to guarantee the movement and protection of the knuckle part and the joint parts. The glove also includes protection members longitudinally formed in a shape corresponding to each finger, thereby effectively protecting all the fingers. The protection members are formed from a lightweight, soft material, thereby reducing the fatigue of a wearer due to wear sensation. A cover member is formed from a rigid material to protect the hand and each of the protection members from the outside.
Abstract:
The present invention provides to a rocker arm apparatus for cylinder deactivation with a new structure for increasing fuel efficiency in a gasoline engine. For this, the present invention provides a rocker arm apparatus for cylinder deactivation including: a rocker arm; a restoring spring supported at the bottom of a rear end portion of the rocker arm; a roller coupled to the rocker arm to be pressed by a cam; a pair of rocker shaft assemblies each including first and second rocker shafts, and a connecting rod integrally connecting the first and second rocker shafts; a pair of rocker shaft support members connected to the rocker arm by means of the first and second rocker shafts; and a transfer member for controlling the rocker shaft assembly.
Abstract:
A variable compression ratio apparatus is disclosed. An upper connecting rod has one end rotatably connected to a piston so as to reciprocate motion of the piston. A lower connecting rod has one end rotatably connected to the other end of the upper connecting rod. A crankshaft is rotatably mounted at an eccentric position of the lower connecting rod. A control rod has one end rotatably connected to the other end of the lower connecting rod, to control the position of that end of the lower connecting rod. A control shaft is connected to the other end of the control rod, to control the position of that end of the control rod.

A variable valve lift apparatus of an engine includes: a control shaft; a driving arm rotatable around the control shaft by a cam of a camshaft; a first rocker arm rotatable around the control shaft, that is operated by the driving arm so as to drive a first valve through a first swing arm; a second rocker arm rotatable around the control shaft, that is operated by the driving arm so as to drive a second valve through a second swing arm; and a mediating device rotatable around the control shaft, that transmits a movement of the driving arm to the first and second rocker arms.
Abstract:
A plasma display apparatus is provided that includes a front substrate, a first electrode, a second electrode and a dielectric layer formed on the front substrate, a rear substrate faced with the front substrate, a third electrode formed on the rear substrate, and a barrier rib which is formed on the rear substrate and partitions discharge cells, wherein at least one of the first electrode and the second electrode is formed with one layer, and the width of at least one of barrier ribs which partitions the discharge cells in the outside of an effective display region is wider than the width of barrier ribs which partition the discharge cells in the inside of the effective display region. The plasma display apparatus does not include a transparent electrode consisting of ITO, reducing the manufacturing cost of the plasma display panel. Further, by forming projecting electrodes protruded in the direction of the center of the discharge cell or in the opposite direction of the center of the discharge cell from the scan electrode or the sustain electrode line, the firing voltage can be lowered and the discharge diffusion efficiency of the discharge cell increased.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a plasma display apparatus, which includes a front substrate; a plurality of first, second electrodes formed on the front substrate; a rear substrate that is faced with the front substrate; a plurality of third electrodes formed on the rear substrate; and a discharge cell that is disposed in the place where the first, the second electrode intersect with the third electrode, wherein at least one of the first and the second electrode is formed with one layer, wherein the width or the length of the first and the second electrode arranged in the adjacent discharge cells are different each other. Accordingly, the manufacturing cost can be decreased by eliminating the transparent electrode made of ITO, the color temperature and the luminance of the plasma display panel ca be increased by asymmetrically forming R, G, B discharge cell.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an intake manifold for a vehicle and comprises tanks for stabilizing intaken air introduced from a throttle body; a plurality of zip tubes diverged from the tanks; a plurality of runners connected to the zip tubes and communicated with respective cylinders; and a adjustment apparatus provided at one side of the zip tubes and the runners for varying the diameter of the zip tube and the diameter of the runner according to an engine operation range. Due to the above structure, the diameter of the zip tube and the diameter of the runner can be varied continuously within the overall operating range of an engine by the adjustment apparatus. Hence, the performance of the engine can be enhanced.
Abstract:
A cylinder deactivation system for a vehicle and a variable valve lift system is fabricated with an end pivot structure that can control two valves at the same time. The structure ensures reliability since a latching pin does not receive a shear force and provides an excellent assemblage and a cost reduction by minimizing the number of parts Such a cylinder deactivation system may include a rocker shaft having an oil supply hole, a rocker arm, a middle arm, and a latching portion separating the rocker arm from the middle arm when an oil pressure operates through the oil supply hole.
