    Abstract: An ink jet printing system comprises an ink reservoir, an ink passageway, an inkjet nozzle, and a plurality of magnetic elements that are located adjacent at least one of the ink reservoir and the ink passageway. The at least one of the ink reservoir and the ink passageway further includes having micro-magnetic particles located therein. The magnetic particles may have a particle size from about 500 nm to about 50 microns. The ink reservoir and ink passageway further contain ink composition comprising pigment colorant. The plurality of magnetic elements provide a magnetic field to be applied to the micro-magnetic particles which results in a chaotic motion of the magnetic particles in the ink mixture.
