These compositions offer surprising benefits in reducing bicycle or motorbike chain lengthening, particularly in off road environments with high dirt and water levels such as during mountain biking or off-road biking. The invention is further directed to a method of preparing such compositions and to the use of such compositions on bicycle or motorbike chains.

摘要: Provided is an antibacterial liquid with excellent temporal stability in which caking due to sedimentation of solid components does not occur and with which a film capable of stably maintaining antibacterial properties can be formed, in a case of being formed into a film. Also provided are an antibacterial film formed using the antibacterial liquid, and a spray and a cloth including the antibacterial liquid. The antibacterial liquid includes an antibacterial microparticle, a binder, and a solvent, in which the antibacterial microparticle contains a silver-supporting inorganic oxide, the binder includes at least one compound having a siloxane bond, the solvent includes an alcohol and water, the concentration of solid contents is less than 5% by mass with respect to the total mass of the antibacterial liquid, and the content of the compound having a siloxane bond is 60% by mass or more with respect to the total solid content of the antibacterial liquid.

摘要: The invention relates to a flame retardant (meth)acrylate composition combining an impact-resistant (meth)acrylic polymer (such as Solarkote® resin from Trinseo) with specific levels of selected organic phosphinate and selected organic phosphorous flame retardants. The composition is halogen free, with superior flame performance, flowability and impact resistance. The composition of the invention is melt-processible and can be co-extruded with a thermoplastic substrate material to obtain a multilayer structure, having a tough, impact resistant cap layer(s). The obtained multilayer structure can be further thermoformed into useful profiles and structures, such as the exterior housing of EV charging stations and car wash stations, automotive applications, aerospace, and building and construction applications.

摘要: Provided is a composition for surface treatment of a steel sheet, the composition having excellent resistance to an acid, such as sulfuric acid, and to a coated steel sheet to which the composition for surface treatment is applied, wherein the composition for surface treatment comprises 30-50% wt % of colloidal silica containing 5-20 nm-sized silica, 40-60% wt % of silane containing three or more alkoxy groups, 5-15 wt % of an acrylate-based organic monomer, 0.01-1 wt % of an acid, and 1-15 wt % of a solvent.
