    Abstract: Disclosed herein are genetically modified plants expressing multiple animal milk proteins. Further disclosed are vectors for expressing in a plant and parts thereof, multiple mammalian milk proteins; genetically modified and or gene-edited plants having at least one cell expressing and producing at least two recombinant mammalian milk proteins wherein expression may be in a seed, bean, grain, fruit, nut, legume, leaf, stem, root, or portion thereof, the recombinant protein being produced by the plant cell; and a method of producing a food, medicament, cosmetic or blocking composition from the genetically modified or gene-edited plant. Reduction or elimination of seed storage proteins in a cell or cells wherein the milk proteins are expressed, or reduction of plant enzymes that can increase the content of oleic and/or stearic fatty acids and/or reduce the content of saturated fats in the plants or plant products are also disclosed.

    Abstract: Provided herein are genetically modified cells and genetically modified plants having increased or decreased expression of a cellulose synthase like G (CSLG) enzyme. These cells and plants may have an increased or decreased content a steroidal alkaloid, a steroidal saponin, or a triterpenoid saponin, compared to a corresponding unmodified cell or plant. Also provided herein are methods of producing a steroidal alkaloid, a steroidal saponin, or a triterpenoid saponin in a genetically modified cell, as well as methods of reducing the content of a steroidal alkaloid, a steroidal saponin, or a triterpenoid saponin in a cell of a plant or a plant part, and methods of increasing the content of a steroidal alkaloid, a steroidal saponin, or a triterpenoid saponin in a cell of a plant or a plant part.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to the identification and use of natural plant compounds for inducing, enhancing and maintaining beneficial rhizobacteria biofilm formation on a plant or plant part thereof, and conversely, inhibiting formation of biofilms and pellicle by plant pathogens.     Abstract: The present invention relates to key genes in the biosynthesis of steroidal alkaloids and saponins, including regulatory genes and enzyme-encoding genes, and to use thereof for altering the content of steroidal (glyco)alkaloids or phytosterols in plants. The present invention provides genetically modified plants or gene edited plants with altered content of steroidal (glyco)alkaloids, particularly to Solanaceous crop plants with reduced content of antinutritional steroidal glycoalkaloids and to the increase in phytosterols, including cholesterol or cholestanol in these plants. The present invention also provides methods of altering gene expression.
