The configuration file includes a first identification number. The controller reads the number from the configuration file and determines whether the number is the same as a predetermined identification number. If the numbers match, the controller outputs a first level signal to the indication circuit. If the numbers do not match, the controller outputs a second level signal to the indication circuit.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides a circuit protection system and a circuit protection method for an electronic system. The circuit protection system includes a main chip, a power chip powering the main chip, a basic input/output system (BIOS) and a control unit. The control unit detects the potential of a PW_OK signal output from the power chip to the main chip, and gets the current state of the electronic system through the BIOS, thereby determining whether the current state of the main chip corresponds to a predetermined state for the main chip which defined in the current state of the electronic system. If not, the control unit outputs a signal to disable the main chip. The present disclosure disables the main chip instantly when the voltage provided thereto is excessive or insufficient, thereby avoiding the damage caused by excessive or insufficient voltage.

    摘要: A power supply device for a network attached storage (NAS) is connected to both a power over Ethernet (POE) system and a direct current (DC) power supply. A control unit of the power supply device receives a voltage provided by the POE system and a voltage provided by the DC power supply, and compares the two voltages with each other. When the voltage provided by the DC power supply equals or is greater than the voltage provided by the POE system, the control unit inputs electric power of the DC power supply to the NAS and prevents electric power of the POE system from being input to the NAS. When the voltage provided by the DC power supply is less than the voltage provided by the POE system, the control unit allows electric power of the POE system to be input to the NAS.

    摘要: Used dry cell batteries having a terminal voltage less than a working voltage of a previously applied device but higher than an exhaustion voltage below which the dry cell batteries stop discharging can be used in a present provided discharging system. The used dry cell batteries are connected in series. The discharging system also includes a discharging unit, a measuring unit, a judging unit, and an indicating unit. The discharging unit discharges the used dry cell batteries. The measuring unit measures the terminal voltage of each dry cell battery. The judging unit judges if the terminal voltage of each dry cell battery is less than a preset voltage below which the dry cell battery is deemed to be exhausted. The indicating unit indicates which dry cell battery has the terminal voltage less than the preset value for replacement.
