    摘要: Systems and methods for sidelink configuration are provided. A transmitting user equipment (UE) transmits configuration parameters relating to a sidelink transmission between the UE and a second UE via higher-layer signalling and then transmits the sidelink transmission to the second UE. The higher layer signalling is a layer above the sidelink transmission. The parameters may include feedback channel parameters or parameters for sidelink reference signal transmission by the second UE. The parameters may be selected by the transmitting UE, or they may be received initially from the network. The parameters may be part of a sidelink configured grant configuration (SL CG) signalled to the second UE. The sidelink transmission may be a configured-grant transmission to the second UE according to the SL CG configuration. The higher layer signalling may be PC5 signalling or RRC signaling.

    摘要: With sidelink reservation signals sent together with the sidelink data, there is the possibility of interference with other sidelink signals. In order to address this, systems and methods are provided in which a first UE transmits a reservation signal to indicate at least one time-frequency resource for transmitting sidelink data. Following this, the first UE transmits at least one sidelink data transmission to a second UE using the at least one time-frequency resource indicated by the reservation signal. The reservation signal is transmitted before the at least one sidelink data transmission signal so that a third UE may detect the reservation signal and use the reservation signal to avoid using the at least one time-frequency resource indicated in the reservation signal.

    摘要: Systems and methods for early termination of feedback in respect of sidelink transmissions are provided. A first UE transmits at least one sidelink (SL) transmission of a first set of SL transmissions to a second UE, the first set of SL transmissions comprising an initial SL transmission and a set number of SL retransmissions. If no ACK is received, then the first UE transmits the set number of retransmissions. On the other hand, if an ACK is received, then the first UE transmits fewer than the set number of SL retransmissions when an ACK is received from the second UE before the set number of SL retransmissions has been completed. By transmitting fewer than all of the set number of SL retransmissions, resources can be freed up for other purposes. The approach may be used for SL configured grant transmission.

A method involves obtaining, by a receive user equipment (UE), configuration information relating to a sidelink transmission between the first UE and a second UE, the configuration information for indicating to the first UE that the sidelink transmission is not associated with any corresponding sidelink control information (SCI). A further step involves receiving, by the receive UE, the sidelink transmission from the second UE using time and frequency resources indicated by the configuration information. Another method involves obtaining, by a transmit UE, configuration information relating to a sidelink transmission between the first UE and a second UE, the configuration information for indicating to the first UE that the sidelink transmission is not associated with any corresponding SCI and transmitting, by the first UE, the sidelink transmission to the second UE using time and frequency resources indicated by the configuration information.
