摘要： A process for the preparation of a laminate, particularly a waterproof moisture vapor permeable laminate, comprising a substrate having on a surface thereof a thermoplastic polymer resin coating and further comprising a peelable release layer in contact with the surface of said thermoplastic polymer resin remote from the substrate, and optionally further comprising a tie layer between the substrate and the thermoplastic polymer resin, said process comprising the steps of forming or providing a substrate layer and providing on a surface thereof a thermoplastic polymer resin coating and a peelable release layer and optionally providing a tie layer between the substrate and the thermoplastic polymer resin coating, characterized in that the thermoplastic polymer resin has a viscosity less than about 3000 Pa.s measured according to the standard ISO11443.

摘要： A substantially liquid impermeable moisture vapor permeable laminate structure comprising: (i) a substrate layer comprising a woven or non-woven material, (ii) a moisture vapor control layer attached to said substrate, (iii) a tie layer comprising one or more copolymers comprising from about 30 to about 90 weight percent ethylene co-monomer units and from about 10 to about 70 weight percent vinyl acetate co-monomer units, and (iv) a layer comprising one or more copolyetherester(s) in an amount of at least 50 weight percent based on the total amount of polymer in the layer. The moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) in the direction away from the copolyetherester-containing layer and tie layer and towards the substrate is preferably greater than the MVTR in the direction away from the substrate layer and towards the tie layer and copolyetherester-containing layer.

摘要： Smokable films, in particular tubular films, comprising i) an aliphatic polyamide and ii) a block copolyetherester elastomer are provided. A process for manufacturing these films is also provided. The films of the invention show excellent water vapor permeability at high temperatures and barrier properties at room temperature. They are suitable for preparation of tubular casings, in particular smoked foodstuff casings.
