    摘要: The method of making an online measurement of a shape of a conveyed sheet, the method comprises the steps of: imaging continuously at least two edge portions of entire the conveyed sheet in a widthwise direction of the conveyed sheet from a leading end to a trailing end of the conveyed sheet in a direction of conveyance of the conveyed sheet by means of a CCD line sensor; processing an image obtained in the imaging step to extract a sheet image portion corresponding to the conveyed sheet in the obtained image; and obtaining the shape of the conveyed sheet according to the sheet image portion extracted in the processing step.

    摘要: The inside of a turn bar is divided into three equal chambers by partitions. A flow of air is intercepted among the divided three chambers. Each chamber is provided with an air duct through which the air flows into the chamber from a blower. An inner pressure of each chamber is adjusted in accordance with the air flowing into the chamber. The inner pressure of the middle chamber is set so as to be higher than the inner pressures of the other chambers. Since the inner pressures of the respective chambers are higher than an outer pressure thereof, the air is jetted from air jet openings formed in a transporting surface of the turn bar.

    摘要: A curved area is a jet surface for jetting the air from air jet openings formed in a zigzag state. Two rollers are disposed in parallel with a turn bar so as to be adjacent to both ends of the jet surface in a transporting direction of a web. The roller rotates, contacting with a surface opposite to a levitation surface of the web, when the web is transported. Oscillation of the web is prevented and the web is prevented from coming into contact with the turn bar. Further, the air jetted from the jet surface is prevented from leaking in the transporting direction. The air leaks in a width direction of the web. An air pressure is prevented from lowering at both ends of the jet surface so that a levitation amount of the web becomes uniform.
