摘要: To provide a rear wheel fender structure for motorcycles, which can be molded with a simplified and inexpensive mold assembly even where the rear wheel finder is so designed and so structured as to permit component parts to be fitted thereto and as to block the splashing of water and/or mud, the rear wheel fender structure 27 is positioned above the motorcycle rear wheel 14 and includes an upper fender 39 and a lower fender 40 secured to a bottom region of the upper fender 39. An adiabatic space 99 is preferably formed between the upper fender 39 and the lower fender 40.

摘要: Disclosed is a motorcycle having a cowling covering an under side thereof in which the cowling can be formed so as to avoid a catalyst while maintaining strength of the cowling, and can maintain a large bank angle and secure the minimum road clearance. The motorcycle is provided with a vehicle body provided with an engine, an exhaust pipe connected to the engine, a catalyst apparatus provided in the exhaust pipe and arranged under the engine, and the cowling covering at least an under portion of the vehicle body. An opening in which an entire peripheral edge portion thereof is formed in a closed hole shape is formed at a position of the cowling corresponding to the catalyst apparatus.

摘要: Disclosed is a meter mounting structure of a motorcycle realizing improvement in visibility of a meter. A meter includes a plurality of displays which are disposed in tandem in a direction of the sight line of a rider and is mounted near a handle. The meter is mounted inclined with respect to a reference plane orthogonal to the sight line such that a lower half portion of each of the displays is positioned closer to an eye point than an upper half portion thereof. Preferably, the meter is mounted such that the lower end of the display on the rear side in the direction of the sight line is disposed in almost the same position as that of the display on the front side in the direction of the sight line in the case where the meter is disposed parallel with the reference plane.

摘要: Disclosed is a motorcycle having a cowling covering an under side thereof in which the cowling can be formed so as to avoid a catalyst while securing a strength of the cowling, and can maintain a bank angle large as well as securing the minimum road clearance. The motorcycle is provided with a vehicle body provided with an engine, an exhaust pipe connected to the engine, a catalyst apparatus provided in the exhaust pipe and arranged under the engine, and the cowling covering at least an under portion of the vehicle body. An opening in which an entire of a peripheral edge portion thereof is formed in a closed hole shape is formed at a position of the cowling corresponding to the catalyst apparatus.
