    摘要: A disclosed fixing device includes a fixing member configured to heat and melt a toner image to fix it onto a recording medium; a pressure member abutting the fixing member to form a nip into which the recording medium is fed; a separating member disposed on the downstream side in the moving direction of the fixing member in relation to the nip in a manner to oppose the fixing member, and configured to perform a separating operation to prevent the recording medium from winding around the fixing member; an electrically grounded frame supporting the fixing member, the pressure member and the separating member; and a conductive member inserted between a supporting portion of the frame and a supported portion of the separating member and having a higher electric resistance than the frame. The separating member and the frame are rendered electrically conductive to each other only via the conductive member.

    摘要: A method of producing a ferrite magnet which comprises the steps of wet-grinding ferrite powder contained in a slurry to prepare a slurry of fine ferrite particles; concentrating the slurry of fine ferrite particles to have a predetermined solid content; kneading the concentrated slurry to disperse the fine ferrite particles; wet-compacting the kneaded slurry to form a green body; and sintering the green body to obtain the ferrite magnet. The ferrite powder having the following composition:MO.multidot.nFe.sub.2 O.sub.3wherein M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ba, Sr and Pb, and n is the number from 5 to 6. By employing the kneading process prior to the wet-compacting process, a high degree of particle orientation is achieved during the wet compacting in a magnetic field, enabling to produce a ferrite magnet having high magnetic properties.

    摘要: A glow plug for diesel engines in which a ceramic heater is supported, with the one end thereof cantilevered toward the outside, by the tip of a hollow holder; the ceramic heater is composed of a U-shaped heating portion and a pair of leads extending backwards from both ends of the U-shaped heating portion, both being formed integrally by an electrically conductive sintered sialon, which is formed by adding a small amount of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 to a raw meal containing Si.sub.3 N.sub.4 as a principal ingredient, a small amount of AlN polytype and no greater than 5 wt. % of Y.sub.2 O.sub.3, and mixing the addition product with 23-70 vol. % of at least one type of Ti carbide, nitride and carbide-nitride; an insulating layer is provided on the outer periphery of at least one of the leads and bonded to, and held by, the inside of the holder; and the rear end of the other of the leads is connected by means of a metallic lead wire to an external connection terminal held in an insulated state at the lead end of said holder.

The cover of each of the first and second light guides includes a material lower in chargeability with the sliding portion than a material of a body of each of the first and second light guides.

    摘要: The present invention relates to ferromagnetic particles capable of exhibiting a high purity and excellent magnetic properties from the industrial viewpoints and a process for producing the ferromagnetic particles, and also provides an anisotropic magnet, a bonded magnet and a compacted magnet which are obtained by using the ferromagnetic particles. The ferromagnetic particles comprising an Fe16N2 compound phase in an amount of not less than 80% as measured by Mössbauer spectrum and each having an outer shell in which FeO is present in the form of a film having a thickness of not more than 5 nm according to the present invention can be produced by subjecting iron oxide or iron oxyhydroxide having an average major axis diameter of 40 to 5000 nm and an aspect ratio (major axis diameter/minor axis diameter) of 1 to 200 as a starting material to dispersing treatment to prepare aggregated particles; subjecting the iron compound particles passed through a mesh to hydrogen reducing treatment at a temperature of 160 to 420° C.; and then subjecting the resulting particles to nitridation treatment at a temperature of 130 to 170° C.
